The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. They went over and above to help us have a pleasant stay. However, even after being changed to a different room (with a different brand of bed), the sleep experience was still atrocious and my dear wife was in so much agony every morning.

Warm and friendly welcome at check in, and the room was very clean and comfortable. Despite being so close to a main road, the room was quiet and I managed a good night's sleep. Bed was very comfortable with good quality pillows and linen, and the Dove toiletries in the bathroom were a nice touch. Free breakfast was adequate, with a hot and continental option and being right next to a Vintage Inns pub is very handy.

Our room was spacious, pillows comfy, mattress ok, bedding smelt fresh, bathroom almost sparkled, carpet clean and furniture and accessories were as new. Hotel reception staff are friendly, well presented and helpful. Hotel breakfast was hot, tasty and reasonably varied. Nice bar area with limited food options with some good meal deals. There was a good selection of confectionery and soft drinks sold behind the bar.
