We love this hotel and always come back not just because they'd go above and beyond for us, but because we feel so relaxed, the beds are comfortable and we can go at our pace. Always use this hotel as a midpoint traveling from Fishguard to Southampton. Off the beaten track, but a hidden gem. Nothing negative about this hotel for what we required. Will be back.

hungry, but not hungry enough for the junk served

Stay ruined because the restaurant next door was closed, so we tried the restaurant in the hotel. The food was disgusting. Highly processed rubbish. The "green vegetables" on the menu, were whitish grey and hard and rubbery. Been in the freezer for a few years before whatever was done to them at the hotel was done. Skin-on fries, did not have any skin on, and I wonder if they ever had been potatoes. Re-constituted muck. And as for the Hunter's chicken... words fail me. Maybe what was a chicken breast had been beaten to a couple of millimetres thick, coated in some thick disgusting batter, deep fried and coated with a sickly sweet sauce.
