We stayed at this hotel before flying to Tenerife and on return from there. The hotel is clean and fairly comfortable downstairs, dinner, which is served up to 21.00h, is acceptable without being exceptional. The choice of food could be a bit more adventurous but as this hotel is at the budget end of the scale perhaps it is not too bad. However, our return flight brought us to the hotel just after 9.00pm and then only pizzas are available. In the morning, breakfast is quite good. The bedrooms that we had were fairly spacious and the beds were very comfortable offering a good night's sleep. The staff who dealt with us were all very pleasant, courteous and helpful. The parking option is very competitive and the car is left in the hotel grounds for the whole duration and not taken elsewhere.

We always use this hotel when we are booked on an early flight. The staff are pleasant and polite, and the rooms are clean and tidy. We are away again in May and will be sure to book our overnight stay at the Holiday Inn.

I stayed here on a solo visit the night before flying to Edinburgh... it’s a great location pretty much as close to the airport as you can get. I was travelling by train and bus and the route was straight forward and easy to find. The shuttle bus service in ge morning was excellent and I arrived at the airport well within time for my flight. Staff ensure that you are booked into the shuttle service at check in to ensure it is timed well for your departure. Rooms are clean and comfortable... the food in the hotel could be improved as it was rather bland and a really small menu during the day time. Unfortunately I didn’t have a car and it was a Sunday so I was kind of stuck for anywhere else to go for food, I would recommend eating before you arrive. The bar and food area again is clean and comfortable and staff are friendly and welcoming. I would stay here again when flying from Cardiff airport... average budget hotel.. comfy clean and close to he airport. I was leaving on a 4am shuttle so I only had time for toast but the breakfast service was included in the price and again the area was clean and tidy... self service buffet style continental for this time in the morning To get an excellent food would need to be improved.

Just one night but an excellent experience. Clean warm roomy bedroom. Reasonable tasty meal and excellent breakfast. Staff could not have been more helpful. Airport transfer when needed. Well done for a great stay.

For £51 it was just fine. Clean and comfy and quiet. Food not great. Staff OK. Shuttle to the airport is provided which is actually easy walking distance but we got a lift there at 4:30 am. Its got everything you need.

As with most visitors to this hotel I guess we booked as we had an early flight for the following morning and as an early morning place it does very well. We breakfasted at 06:00 with no problem and a wide choice of cooked or cold food. We checked out the night before so no problem. This is what it does well. Don't go for a romantic weekend. One small niggle, while the hotel was warm we found our room a little chilly.

I would class this place as ok for an overnight stay, no more than that. Check in was a bumpy to say the least. Room cleanliness was questionable, the bed was clean however bathroom was not. Would class the food as edible, nothing spectacular but given hotel locations you have no alternative. Breakfast however is served from 4am with cooked breakfast commencing at 6. Would I stay here again, probably as it’s literally 2 mins from Cardiff airport, but I now know what to expect.

I used this hotel for an overnight stay before flying from Cardiff Airport for a week's holiday. The night that I stayed was very reasonably priced and included the parking. But the following week when Wales was playing in the 6 nations rugby the price just for a room without parking was nearly 3x what I had paid. If I had been flying out on that weekend it would have been too expensive for me to stay there. So, travel dates are an important factor when deciding if this is a budget or a luxury hotel! It was very easy to park my car in the large car park adjacent to the hotel and then just leave it there until my return. The hotel is well looked after. The room that I stayed in was spotlessly clean and well equipped. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. And the heating was just right .... cool and airy. There is a free shuttle bus to and from the airport which worked really well. On my return, I phoned the hotel and within 5 minutes was being picked up by their mini bus. If I had not had a large suitcase I would have walked to the airport terminal .... as it was only a 5 to 10 minute stroll away. My only negative would be that the reception staff and breakfast staff were not particularly friendly or helpful. However, the lady and gentleman who drove the transfer buses were very nice. I would definitely stay again at this hotel when using the airport (unless a special event was affecting the price).

Superb hotel for what it costs. Staff are excellent. They Printed out our boarding passes. For the flight. Breakfast is brilliant. Thanks for the hospitality. Nothing was too much trouble. The quote for 8 days parking and a one night stay wad equal to the car park at the airport. So 2as s better solution for us

Rooms were a good size and very clean. Bed was comfortable. We had a shuttle across to the airport and on the return because it was quiet a taxi was sent for us. We received paperwork to advise how to make contact with the hotel on arrival back to Cardiff. We had dinner in the bar, the pizza was impressive, fresh and of a high quality. Check in was quick and efficient as was organising car parking for a couple of days. If leaving a car whilst your travelling the cost is £7 each day. Payment is to be made on arrival and your car needs to be parked on the furthest left of the hotel. Great hotel for a night or two
