Magnificent scenery in the hills of Corsica. Sitting in a sweet chestnut forest the house is very comfortable and well appointed and a lovely welcome bundle was left by the owners. The people locally are extremely friendly; the roads can be a bit hairy, but makes for very authentic Corsica. We saw buzzards, kites, the Corsican swallowtail, it’s great for nature lovers. There are cascades locally for swimming, great for day trips to Calvi and the Asco gorge.
