We absolutely loved our stay at the Double A house over New Years. Spectacular location that provides that sense of peace & removal with unbroken panoramic mountain views. The house is very comfortable and well apportioned (all guests reported very comfy beds in all 3 bedrooms), and our host was extremely communicative and responsive, not to mention she provided helpful recommendations (definitely visit Iron Mountain Hot Springs). We'd be more than happy to come back.

We had a wonderful stay! The views were amazing, and the house had all the essentials we needed. We were happily surprised to find the cottage connected to the main house and an extra bathroom, which made things super convenient. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful house with stunning views

This house was perfect. The kitchen is well stocked. We had everything we needed. The views are spectacular and we enjoyed sitting outside and soaking it in. This is a five star plus rating. The hosts were very responsive when we had a question.

The view!

Our group of four friends had an incredible time at the property. Spacious layout, we were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies. Sitting on the patio taking in the view was the top highlight for us all.

Beautiful views, beautiful house

Megan was so helpful and very responsive. The house and property were beautiful. We loved the small cottage, the patio with the views and the gardens. The house had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend to others!

Our new favorite place!

My husband and I are retired and travel to Colorado often but had never explored this part of the state. We definitely chose the best place to stay! This property is amazing. It's close to Aspen (but not too close!) and has the best views of anywhere we've ever stayed. Everything you might possibly need is provided and the layout of the home and everything in it is perfect for relaxing, cooking, dining -- and most of all for enjoying the view of Mount Sopris and the changing light, clouds, and weather. Both sunrise and sunset are visible from the home. Great services are close by (groceries, coffee, restaurants) but the home itself feels secluded and private. Nearby places and activities we enjoyed -- lunch at White House Tavern in Aspen, riding the gondola to the top of Aspen Mountain, dinner at Free Range Kitchen in Basalt, and hiking in the Maroon Bells area. This is a home and area we would love to visit again.

Beautiful property with great views

This property was so clean and has such stylish furnishings. Everything from the beautiful dining room table to the super comfortable beds. We loved the extra touches like the provided luxurious shampoo & conditioner and the soft outdoor blankets to use on the patio chairs. Thank you for a wonderful family stay at your property.

Beautiful property with immaculate views of the valley and Mt. Sopris. Stayed 5 days and 4 nights for my daughter’s wedding and the property made the event even more special.

Amazing Home!

We travel a lot and stay in short term rentals often. This was hands down the nicest, most well appointed STR that we have ever stayed at. The home has awesome mountain finishes with some really cool interior decor. More importantly, there isn't a single thing missing that you could possibly need. Megan is an amazing host. For full disclosure, I was a little high maintenance on this trip as our plans changed a few times. Megan was great throughout and couldn't have been more accommodating. She was also super attentive to anything that we may have needed. Thank you Megan.

Beautiful mountain home

This home is extremely well done. Looks just like the pictures. From the well stocked kitchen to the comfortable beds and couches, to the easy check-in - everything about our stay was great. Communication with host was also very clear and helpful. We had a lovely stay, would highly recommend.

Fantastic property with great views!

We loved our stay at this home. Communication with the host was easy, check in/check out a breeze and the home itself is just fantastic. Clean, great location, very private and quiet and the VIEWS! The scenery out of every window is breathtaking. This home also provided a lot of extras that we never expect, but made our stay so great (spices, steamer in the laundry room, humidifiers and extra fans, etc). Thank you for a great stay-we would love to return!

Family get away

The stay was very lovely. The only thing we would recommend was more lighting, when we played games it was hard to see in the kitchen area especially at night. We enjoyed everything and are very appreciative of being able to enjoy some time away.

Fabulous vacation spot!!!!!

We absolutely loved staying in this home. The views are breath-taking from every room. It is a short drive to downtown Aspen and even shorter drive to a local grocery store. The host was incredibly responsive. The home was clean and had a beautiful layout. We stayed with our three kids and had plenty of space. The adorable cottage in the back is not connected to the house. It's a perfect place for an older kid/s or couple to stay in. Keep in mind that layout when planning to stay with young kids. There is a great smaller room on the first floor for kids. Overall and absolutely wonderful experience! We will be coming back for sure.

Dreamy!

We absolutely adored this rental. We wish we could have stayed for the entire month - the property is gorgeous, with fruit trees galore! We picked apples, plums, and pears, and enjoyed being outside to enjoy the breathtaking views. The amenities at this home are also outstanding. They had everything we could have ever needed for ourselves and for our 1 year old daughter. The location was convenient for getting to the grocery, but far enough away that you feel private and secluded. What a dream to wake up here, make a fresh cup of coffee and watch the sunrise. We will definitely be back with the entire family. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Magical Mountain Getaway

We booked a last minute trip at this hidden gem outside of Aspen and were not disappointed. It was myself, my husband, 7 year old daughter and our good friends with their 8 and 2 year old daughters. This is a new property to VRBO and I feel like we got let in on a secret and I don't want anyone else to know about it ;-). The views of the Roaring Fork valley were incredible and the sunset and sunrise was breathtaking. You are super close to everything you may need. So if you forget something at the store there is a City Market AND Whole Foods down the mountain. Plus there are adorable little restaurants and shops in both directions. We could have spent another week just exploring these but it was so hard to pry ourselves away from the charming house. Speaking of, this oasis was exactly what we wanted - clean, open, airy, bright, welcoming, well appointed and full of personality. They have everything you need and it's all labeled and thoughtfully designed. Waking up in the primary bedroom and seeing those views was spectacular. We can't wait to come back and stay at this gem - we just hope the word doesn't get out and it's available!
