It's a bit of an effort to get there because there's no vehicle access, but once there, it's amazing. The room was superb, well fitted out with everything you need. Our host was extremely helpful in every way. The breakfast out on the deck was top notch in everyway. Highly recommended.

Wonderful quiet spot.

We loved our stay at La Reginella Hotel. The room was very nice with a super comfy bed . We had our own little terrace. The hosts were very welcoming and the breakfast buffet was wonderful! We wished we could have stayed longer and we would definitely recommend this hotel to fellow travelers.

Wonderful little hotel with history

The room is perfect: nicely designed, private garden, sitting area, comfortable bathroom, superb mattress and bed, spotless clean. The hotel is excellent and the view from the terrace is impresive, but all the walking uphill was a killer, even with our light carry-ons, or empty handed at night after sightseen and dinner. If you are young and well fitted it shouldn't be a problem, for us in our 60 even thou we consider ourselves to be in good shape was really difficult.

Nice clean room. Very good breakfast provided. Outside area with beach chairs to relax on. Also a nice veranda. Relaxing location away from the crowds. Does take a little walking to get here. Alex the hotel owner and manager was very nice.

We loved it

This was a tranquil get away. We had a room with a view of the ocean that let lots of light in. There was a small fridge to put drinks and small grocery items in. Bottled water was provided every day. The climb to the hotel became much easier every day. The breakfast was wonderful on the patio with a beautiful view. There was also an area to lounge in the sun. Our room was kept very clean.

Nice small Hotel. Good size room, clean, good bed, quiet. Good breakfast. Nice and helpful staff. Very nice view from patio or restaurant, where I have enjoyed very fresh and tasty fish salad.

Long walk up a steep hill

I stayed with my wife and son for two nights. The room was very clean and it was a decent place to stay. The view from the hotel terrace where they serve breakfast is stunning! In addition, the breakfast was excellent. Our issue was the distance from the square. It was a very long walk up a very steep hill to get there. We thought we were saving money on the hotel, but you need to factor in the cost to get your luggage to the hotel. There is a porter that would have taken our bags for 30 Euro. We didn't do it since we didn't know how far out the hotel was. We took a taxi to the square which cost 25 Euro and then had to drag our bags through the square and up the hill. Not a fun task in the heat. The owner saw that we were exhausted and sweaty and kindly gave us cool water on arrival. As long as you know what you are getting into, this is a nice place to stay, just be aware.

Oh to back in Capri - with or without passports!

This small, reasonably priced and convenient hotel had some of the best staff we have met. We arrived at Capri Marina in a state of shock when we realised that we had left our passports at the previous hotel which were needed for the next part of our holiday. Sandro, the sympathetic manager immediately made useful suggestions, phoned the previous hotel, with an end result that we had our documents by a free courier the next day. This saved us a precious 6 hours round trip and £130 in costs. It is only at a time like this that you realise the value of good management who go beyond the call of duty. The breakfast on the terrace with beautiful views, was delicious and included not just the usual fare but home-made cakes and pastries and a great apple strudel; all cooked and served by the incredibly efficient Sabina. Also, when the light bulb failed in our bathroom, Dilhan came to the rescue and had it fixed within minutes of our request! Great staff - great hotel, unforgettable holiday - thank you.

A wonderful and affordable place in paradise.

The room was spacious and very clean. The hotel exceeded expectations at every turn. The hotel staff is excellent and helpful. If you are looking to enjoy Capri without the high price of the resorts and five star hotels this is your place to be. The room we had was very basic in its furnishings and decor but we had clean towels every day, breakfast provided with a breathtaking view, and a quiet place to lay our heads. Over all our stay on Capri and in La Reginella was the highlight of our trip. It is a two star hotel that gives you five star service . Thank you to the management and staff!

Awesome place for the view!

Great view for the price in Capri! We will definitely go back for the staff and services. Adequate room and fantastic balcony (equal to size of room) with a great view of the Marina Piccolo. Quiet and peaceful. A bit out of the way, but we love to hike. A Hidden Gem!!!

My wife and I stayed for two nights in August 2012. Nice hotel, best free breakfast we had our entire stay in Italy. The hotel even threw a fancy concert with buffet and champagne on the house! Only downside is the hotel is a 15 minute walk up a steep sidewalk from the main Capri square, it's easily doable, just be aware! You have to go swim in the Azzura (blue) Grotta around 530pm!!! Just take the bus to the stop and walk down the steps!

Trattasi di "piccolo hotel" per lo più a gestione familiare situato a Capri sulla strada che conduce all'Arco Naturale.Curato ed arredato nei minimi particolari sicuramente da persone molte esperte ed appassionate della propria attività.Niente è lasciato al caso: tutto è al suo posto.Superba la colazione di tipo continentale formata da squisite e numerose torte dolci e salate fragranti di giornata,formaggi e salumi vari,frutta fresca mista di stagione e spremuta di arancia fatta al momento.Il tutto servito su di una terrazza con scenografica vista sulla parte orientale dell'isola.Fanno cornice il monte Solaro ed il mare aperto.Tutto questo unito alla riservata ma piena disponibilità e gentilezza dei proprietari. Massimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt - einfach nur toll !

Bin häufig in Italien, hatte aber bisher noch nie ein so gutes Frühstück wie in diesem Hotel. Sehr netter Inhaber, der einem mit Rat und Tat zur Seite steht und zudem perfekt Deutsch und Englisch spricht, auch das eine absolute Seltenheit, zumindest im südlichen Italien. Gut gelegen mit atemberaubendem Ausblick von der hoteleigenen Terasse. Unser Zimmer hatte eine eigene kleine Terasse, ein bequemes Bett, Wlan und Klimaanlage funktionieren prima. Alles mehr als sauber und gepflegt. TV allerdings, soweit ich mich erinnere, ohne Programme in deutscher Sprache. Es hat uns hier sehr gefallen, wir müssen unbedingt nochmal wiederkommen.
