Perfect for a family getaway, this 3-bedroom, 2-bath beach house offers ample space for everyone to relax. While there aren’t any river views from the unit, you’re part of a cozy triplex with great decks, perfect for sipping your morning coffee or catching up with friends.

You'll be within walking distance to Capitola's unique shops, art galleries, restaurants, and, of course, the beautiful beach. Just across the path, enjoy shared access to the riverside BBQ and picnic area for some fun outdoor dining.

With Monterey Bay, Santa Cruz, scenic hiking trails, beautiful beaches, and local wineries all within a short drive, this centrally located gem is the ideal base for exploring the best of the region.

Parking is easy with space for one small vehicle in the carport below the home. If you’re traveling with extra cars, we recommend parking in one of the two large lots just a minute’s walk away, where you can park overnight for free or for a small daily fee.

Great location...Very scant kitchen

Location location location. You can't beat this for Capitola....but we were very disappointed with the cleanliness and lack of kitchen stuff. The garbage cans were over flowing into the walkway at the base of the stairs, the couches and walls need desperate cleaning. The only condiments are salt, pepper, and 4 coffee filters. There were 5 or 6 coffee cups, plates, and a single ice tray....just fyi.

The unit is in a good location and the river front sitting area was a nice addition; however, the unit could use a thorough cleaning. There were spider webs, no screens on the windows and the common areas were dirty.

Great location

Ideal location on the river and a minute from the village. Great patio on river but old charcoal bbqs and beat up dirty picnic table. Place was clean enough but rundown beds, furniture, kitchen etc. price doubled with all the service charges so I expected higher quality.

Don't expect it to look like the pictures in VRBO

This property has a great location just a few doors down from Capitola Village and has a nice outdoor area on Soquel Creek that it shares with two other units. The interior badly needs a redo. The carpets and the two sofas appeared dirty and stained and need replacement immediately. The carpet looked so funky no one wanted to remove their shoes. The VRBO photos of the interior as far as cleanliness and general condition are way out of date and what we found there was a major disappointment. We owned a vacation rental in Kauai and currently own a long term rental duplex in Capitola so we know what a well maintained rental property should be and should look like. This unit is not it. Additionally prospective renters should know that the unit itself is NOT on Soquel Creek and does not have a view of it. The condo is oriented to the street and not the creek itself. Why not put some of the rental income back into the property so your guests don't go away feeling disappointed and unhappy??

The house was clean however there was a leak in the room the baby was in and a leak in the top of the sliding glass door by the kitchen. The beds were very small and not entirely comfortable. Overall, not a horrible experience but could have been better for the price.
