Staff was so nice and welcoming! We had 2 queen beds and they were comfortable. Rooms were cleaned daily! Liked that the entire room was tiled. Carpet would have been impossible to keep clean with the beach sand. Convenient location, free parking. Just need to pay for beach tags ($6/day per person) continental breakfast was fine...cereal, doughnuts, bagels, juice, coffee. Balcony was nice. It had 2 Adirondack rocking chairs. That too was very clean. No hanging beach towels over balcony railing. That keeps the look of the hotel much nicer! We kept them on backs of Adirondack chairs. I just thought the view of the ocean was more straight on, instead of at an angle. All rooms overlook the parking lot with a view of the ocean beyond that. As you are looking at the hotel photo from the website, the rooms go across and down the right of the hotel...like the #7. Our room was on the right, so our view of the ocean was slightly angled, which was still nice. Our timing was great..we went from 8/29-9/1/2016. Most of the college kids were back to school. It was mostly families and folks in their 50's and beyond. It was perfect for us because we were not looking for the crazy boardwalk scene. We wanted a bit more of a peaceful getaway. Beach was very clean! It was great having the Steger Beach Rentals on the beach so that we could rent umbrellas and chairs. The beach rental folks put up our umbrellas and set up our chairs everyday. We would come again!
