I was visiting Cape May on business, so I needed basic but comfy and safe accommodations just for one night. This place was an absolute gem! For a very reasonable price, I had a lovely stay in a clean and super convenient room. The mini-kitchen was lovely, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom spacious and spotless. The only downside is that the walls and especially the ceiling are very thin, and I was disturbed several times by people talking loudly in the parking lot, and running/stomping upstairs. If you want to sleep past 6 AM, I recommend getting a second floor room if possible! Otherwise, it was a wonderful stay with very nice staff, well-maintained grounds, and a cute pool/hottub. I will definitely consider staying again next time I am in Cape May.

Very clean, great location, staff was very friendly. The value is great for what was provided. And while there was a portable heating unit in the room that made a bit of noise, I visited at Christmas during a 15 degree cold snap so was unbothered by that aspect. Well worth it!
The room was very comfortable and had a nice kitchen area & bathroom. All things seemed to be updated - microwave was new. It was cold out - the heater worked very well. The bed was a little hard
Close to the beach and town, helpful staff, clean, handy basic kitchenette. The only problem was the walls are thin so I heard my upstairs neighbors stomping around all through the night and early morning.

I liked the water fountain and the outdoor pool. The room had dishes and silverware as well as a microwave and mini fridge. I liked the showerhead. It was a quiet night's sleep during my stay. There is a table and chairs outside each room which I used to enjoy my breakfast. One thing I didn't like is that they charge more for upper floor rooms. I asked about changing mine from the ground level and they said it would be an extra $300 for two nights! I declined and stayed on the ground level. Also my bedding had a couple holes in them.
We liked the cleanliness of the unit, the property is walking distance to beach avenue, it’s safe and quiet, did not smell cigarette smoke inside unit. The one thing we did not like was the condition of the bed. The right side was sunken.

It was beautiful. It was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the kitchenette was perfect!
Close to beach. Room was not cleaned or vacuumed during our stay. Bed was made but refills were not given for shampoo etc. or glasses. No amenities like newspapers at the front. Office girl was extremely friendly and helpful with recommending restaurants.
The Madison Avenue Beach Club was conveniently located, clean, and affordable! I love having a kitchenette! We’ll definitely be back!
Location for access to all of Cape May was my primary reason for choosing this hotel. Central location.
