My fiance and I had a Graduation Party in Sandwich to attend and instead of driving all the way back to the North Shore we stayed at the Inn. The Tavern was perfect, with an impressive menu. Try the Beef Carpaccio! The room was lovely as well as the staff.

cozy, comfy room, darling town and fabulous restaurants and points of interest. Great breakast in lovely restaurant. really friendly staff.

room was small, had weird picture window to hallway, needed bigger window to the outside on other side of room. no indoor pool or hot tub. breakfast was great

I arrived at the desk to check-in at 5pm and was just telling the young woman that I just drove from Maryland (an 8.5 hour trip) she smiled and said, "you know, how about if I give you a first floor room". I assume by the inflection she had already arranged a second floor room. I was so touched by her caring and concern. I also shared with her the reason for my stay (I was there for the funeral of my former husband of 15 years) and the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, courteous and polite. I found my room clean and pleasant and very private for me. The barmaids and bartender were also friendly and professional, but very comforting and accommodating.

Room was very clean, but small. There was only room for one chair.

They keep this hotel very dark so it felt very depressing. I had to take a small lamp (remove shade) and hook it up on sink counter so I could see to apply my contacts and makeup. Note- bring light bulbs! The bed was more like a full not a queen, we know because we have a queen bed at home. There are no dressers in the room just a small place to hang clothes which would be find for one person but very difficult for two people. I would suggest people ONLY stay in their new suites if they are spending more than one day because the room is very small and the bed takes up most of the room. Way too close for comfort. I hated how dimly lit the halls were because it made for a very depressing atmosphere. The women that checked us out never once asked how our stay was so I didn't bother to mention the bed or lighting. The food at breakfast was very average but the servers were great and at least it was in a patio so there was sunlight, the only place not depressing.
