Perfect for our needs!

This was such a nice little house for our family of four and small dog. We had a travel issue and had to leave our RV in TN and make quick, alternate plans. The property manager contacted a cleaner to get it done a day earlier and accommodated our last minute needs. Would book this house again.

Cute duplex

This is a cute, small duplex! It is better for smaller families that don’t need a lot of space. We’ve stayed in Cape Charles many times, and this rental wasn’t as clean as other places we have stayed. Overall, I would recommend this rental property, but would suggest the cleaning process is more thorough!

Beach Trip

The house was cute, very clean, decent location. Golf cart is a must d/t location of property to beach and shopping/food. Charging the cart is done out back of the house via a gravel alleyway - warning there are TONS of mosquitos in the back alley. Showers are very small. Stairway is also very steep and small. Otherwise the house was great.

Sweet spot!

Orange Crush II was clean and spacious, just right for our little family and pup for the week! The home is nicely updated with a big kitchen area and comfortable family room. The whole place was nicely decorated too! We had one minor issue with the outdoor shower and tried to contact the property manager, Chesapeake Properties, but we never heard back from them. Luckily the owner was staying next door (we didn’t know!) and overheard the issue. He went right to the hardware store and fixed the problem. They were so welcoming too and their little kids even befriended ours. The property is a little farther from the beach, maybe 8-10 min walk, but our golf cart made that no problem at all! We would stay here again :)

4th of July Family Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Check-in was smooth and seamless. Have dealt with Chesapeake Properties before. Overall the house was nice. We booked both sides 536 and 538. The mattresses, with the exception of just one room in 536, were not comfortable at all. So uncomfortable that some opted to sleep on the couch. My only other complaint is, the outside shower area has too much mud. I would suggest either stone around or make the pavers larger. We were able to wash the sand off but then we would track in the mud. Which is why I would only give it 3 stars. Otherwise the homes were well equipped and decorated nicely.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a nice week in Cape Charles. The house was clean, although the porches we're not kept up. The furniture in the living area is showing signs of wear but overall it's a well done room for a rental.The bathrooms were small but for a week at the beach the were acceptable. The beds were comfortable.

Great family rental

This house was perfect for our family of 4 and 2 grandparents. Loved location and section of the beach we were closest too. Loved having the ally way off of nectarine to pull the golf cart into the back yard for washing beach toys. The only thing we missed was a mop for spills and to clean up at night after a day of fun tracking sand and what not through the house.

Orange Crushin' it!

Beautifully restored duplex in the historic district of town. The restoration truly made the house feel both clean and comfortable. Unlike other rentals we have stayed in in the past, the furniture and lay out were comfortable and well thought out. We stayed for two weeks and could not be more pleased with our stay. We even had the pleasure of meeting the family that owns the house. They were so nice and incredibly hospitable! We will definitely book with them again in the future!
