Stay at Hotel Mayurca

Wonderful stay in hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Although the resort (Canyamel) itself was more geared up towards German customers all hotel staff were multi lingual and made us feel welcome. When we ate in the hotel the food was very good and worth the money. Good if you want to get away from it all and relax.

Sauber und charmant

Wir waren für 7 Nächte im Hotel untergebracht (Suite). Es war sehr angenehm. Frühstück hatten wir 3x separat dazugebucht. Prinzipiell war das Frühstück gut mit allem was dazu gehört, nur der Kaffee ließ leider - wie fast in allen Hotels - zu wünschen übrig (Kaffeeautomat). Den guten "cafe con leche" gab es gegen Aufpreis aus hoteleigener Cafeteria aber serviert. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und sympathisch. Die Zimmer wurden jeden Tag gereinigt (die Uhrzeit war für uns nur etwas ungelegen, weil wir nach dem Frühstück meistens noch im Zimmer waren und dann die Putzfrau schon geklopft hat. Nachmittags wäre sicher besser). Die hoteleigene Cafeteria könnte innen sicher noch etwas gemütlicher gestaltet werden, aber Café, Eis und Panini waren lecker! :-) freies Internet gab es leider nur in der Lodge &Cafeteria, im Zimmer nur gegen Bezahlung. Summasummarum kann man das Hotel auf alle Fälle weiterempfehlen!

Grundsätzlich tolles Hotel nahe am Strand

Überschaulich (28 Zimmer) nettes deutschsprachiges Personal, Rezeption 24h besetzt 2 Minuten zu Fuß an den Strand Pool sehr klein, dient eher nur zum abkühlen nette Poolbar, Toni ist klasse :-), je nach Gästen bis zwei Uhr offen. Zimmer sehr hellhörig, Wasserleitungsrauschen deutlich zu hören wenn nebenan Wasser lief. Schöner kleiner Balkon, Balkontüren halten den Lärm (wenn es mal welchen gibt, z.B. beim Frühstück, wir sind Laaaangschläfer) gut ab! gute Betten, TV mit ausreichend deutschen Programmen, Klima funktioniert tadellos, kleiner Kühlschrank (leer), großer Kleiderschrank. Recht großes Bad, auf den ersten Blick ein Traum, auf den zweiten Blick einige unpraktische Details, große Dusche (keine Wanne!) mit so einem Tropenschauer überm Kopf, Toll dachte ich, aber dadurch war nur gebücktes Duschen für mich (186cm) möglich, naja, ging auch... Waschbecken aus Glas, schön anzuschauen, eine Herausforderung für die Reinigungskräfte, sehr flach, mal den Kopf zum abkühlen/Haare waschen unter den Wasserhahn halten war nicht möglich, Wenig Ablagemöglichkeiten (1-2 Regalböden wären nett) Reinigungskräfte sehr motiviert, man spürte dass sie sich wohlfühlen und gerne arbeiten, durch die Hellhörigkeit der Zimmer war es aber dann sehr laut wenn nebenan geputzt wurde. Alle die zum Frühstück aufstehen werden das gar nicht mitbekommen, wie gesagt, wir sind Langschläfer :-) Die Gäste sind eher ab 35-40 aufwärts, entsprechend ists ruhig, das ein oder andere Kind störte gar nicht

Old rooms but with a great staff

It was good all in all but we where not so happy with the rooms which were old and not in a super good shape, but clean. Time to rethink the style of the beds and the old pictures on the wall didn't it really cheer things up. The service was really good, especially at the breakfast people where really friendly and funny that made my day.

Estancia por trabajo

Estuve hospedado por temas de trabajo y fue de lo más económico calidad/precio que encontré por la zona. Fue una estancia tranquila, la primera noche coincidió con una cena de barbacoa y una actuación de un grupo en directo. Al lado de la piscina tienen un pequeño bar para acabar la noche tomando una copa.

Zona tranquila

Zona tranquila. Cerca de la playa y varias calas. Excelente personal en el desayuno. Hay que pagar por el wifi y es un poco caro. Hormigas en la habitación y en el baño, días después cuando había ríos de estas, el hotel actuó con bastante eficiencia, en especial el chico de recepción del turno de noche. El baño no muy limpio el primer día. Hotel bueno y tranquilo. Desayuno bastante completo. Piscina pequeña pero aprovechable. Entorno tranquilo.

Petit effort a faire au niveau de la chambre (parquet et mur abimé, 2 lits simples au lieu d'un lit double) mais le reste de l'hôtel est magnifique, personnel aux petits soins, très bon petit déjeuner.

Heerlijk klein hotelletje met verblijf in suite.

Een klein hotel in het rustige plaatsje Canyamel, vlakbij het strand (200 meter). Hotel staat in de 2e lijn hotels vanaf het strand gezien. Er komen voornamelijk volwassenen, het hotel biedt weinig faciliteiten voor kinderen. Er zijn gewone kamers en een aantal suites. Wij hadden een suite. Deze heeft een aparte grote slaapkamer, soort van woonkamertje met walk-in-closet en extra bed. Mooie badkamer met inloop douche. Groot balkon over de gehele breedte van de kamer. Kamer werd elke dag schoongemaakt.Personeel is heel aardig en behulpzaam. Klein zwembadje, met voldoende rustige lig plekken.
