Cottage Gigi, Smart Convenient Stone Village House with Pool
Cottage Gigi is a Smart and Convenient stone-house set along the narrow street of the ancient hamlet of Ruota, in the Compitese area 14 kms south of Lucca. The stone house has direct access from the street. From the upper floor bedroom there is access to the outdoor reachable through a path. At the top of the hill on the back of the house there is an above-the-ground pool and a small hayloft with a dining table with view, a simple kitchenette and bathroom.
COMPOSITION:
Ground Floor: entrance, living area with dining, kitchen, 1 bathroom with shower, Garage for 1 car.
First Floor: a Master bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower, bedroom with bunk beds.
Second Floor: Master bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower, access to the outdoor on the back of the house (from there guests can walk up the pathway to reach the pool).
Note: the bedroom with bunk beds it is not air conditioned.
A public parking is located in the village, 90 metres away.

A unique place

A fairytale location!
The villa is in a very local, fairytale-kind of locations. The views to the mountains are just stunning day and night, and you’re surrounded by families only. Very quiet, with an amazing atmosphere of Tuscany. The Villa is clean, all the acs are working well, all equipment is perfect and very comfortable. Special thanks to Luigi for the homemade wine to welcome us, and the hospitality and support. Highly recommended, it is the perfect place to explore Tuscany and the nature of these lands, as well as the real Italian culture and hospitality.

It was a pleasure.
We loved everything about our stay at Cottage Gigi. The villa has everything you need and more - it is clean, comfy and we loved the little details. The agency and the owner are super kind and friendly. The surroundings are perfect and you can reach Lucca, Pisa, Forte dei Marmi etc easily. In other reviews, it was mentioned, that the way up to the villa is difficult to drive by car - but we had a big car (SUV) and it was no problem for us. Thanks for having us.
