Once you're on site, Buildings 1 + 2 will be the first 2 tiny house buildings from the left (facing the lake). The doors to this unit will be on the upper and lower level right side of each building. A dedicated parking spot will be to the left of the building. The Container Retreat is a waterfront gem that provides a peaceful and remote experience with plenty of nearby amenities, activities, restaurants, and more! As to respect the peaceful ambiance of the community, we ask that this vibe is left undisturbed. Please help us to accommodate to quiet time after 10pm. Canyon Lake is also a respected 0 lumens stargazing community! Bring your binoculars or telescope to partake =). The best way to get around Canyon Lake will be via car. As this is a remote location, (if you don't have a car) a scheduled ride service should be pre-arranged as needed. See our guidebook to get information on partners and services. Lake Access: Our property is directly on the lake, however, as the perimeter of the lake is owned by the Army Corps of Engineers, we’re unable to provide paved access to the water. It is accessible, but the access point is steeper than expected. Here are some nearby options for public paved water access 1. JBSA Recreational Park - 1.6mi away 2. Canyon Park - 4.2 mi away 3. Floating the River - Tube Haus 4. We do have partnerships in place for pontoon or sports boat rentals on the lake. They would be able to meet you at the nearby dock for pickup and drop-off.
