Need a small place to get away from it all? Check out sweet Scandia North Cabin! This small one bedroom home is across the street from the beach and just one block from downtown. A perfect getaway spot for the solo traveler, couple, or small family.

From the front porch, the front door opens to the living room. TV, Wifi, or just some quiet time can all be accomplished here. A trundle bed functions as a day bed, great for lounging after a day on the beach.

The bedroom is through the left door off the living room. It's a cozy spot with a queen bed. The door to the right off the living room leads to the galley kitchen. At the other end of the kitchen you'll find a table with four chairs for meals or card games! The bathroom is just to the left of the dining space. The back door leads out a small patio with a BBQ if grilling is your passion.

With downtown Cannon Beach just a block away and the beach so near, you can park your car and not use it again until it's time to leave.

Scandia North in Cannon Beach was a cozy cottage with a well equipped kitchen, a fabulous peak-a-boo view of the ocean from the porch, and short walking distance to the estuary, beach, shops, cafes, and restaurants. Neighbors were friendly. The vibe was safe, fun, and relaxing. I'd add a hook to the back patio for drying wet things or a short clothes line, but my bungee also worked fine.
