the staff is great even though not there all day. go shopping before. once parked, don't more car. the shower has good water but very small. need more storage in bathroom. large trash bins. balcony needs cleaning.
Excellent experience in a very good price. The rooms are very clean. A small kitchen included inside the room for quick cooks, a microwave, tv, AC, fridge. Also rooms have balconies! I suggest you to visit this hottel for budget hollydays
Hotel to avoid. I have cancelled the reservation in this hotel via e-mail to the reception and they confirmed they would give money back. But then my card was debited. I tried to get my money back but until present day the hotel keeps it. Don't stay here!
We went to Cannes for business and we stayed five nights at this resid-hotel, which had a good location and humble but comfortable facilities. Our room was for four and had a double bed and a bunk, with two separated rooms, a kitchenette and a terrace. This last one could have been cleaner, but the rest of the room was ok. We chose to have breakfast included, and it resulted to be excellent! Lots of delicious French food which made our mornings. The only disadvantage is that staff is missing from around 1pm and 5pm, and once again from 8pm, and they lock the door, so if you're planning your trip take this into account to avoid bad surprises.
small and couzy room , situated in a calm residential area in cannes . free wifi and good breakfast . 10 min away from the city center . perfect for a family with kids ( 4 beds bedrooms at an excelent price )
Arrived here for business in October 2016. The experience could have been better. It is very strange that for 5 hours every day between 12pm and 5pm there are no staff available to help check-in or check-out guests. Also, after 10pm there are no staff available again. So if you plan on arriving or checking out outside of staffed times, good luck. This is the only hotel in the world I've encountered such awkward and unhelpful desk staffing arrangements. When I arrived with my wife and some colleagues on a Sunday afternoon around 1pm, a poor maid/cleaner was already having to deal with a couple of other guests who had recently arrived, and who were unable to access their room because there were no other staff available, and no keys had been left for them. I think a hotel, even an 'aparthotel' (whatever the difference is) should do better than this. When there are obviously many bookings due to arrive, and potentially many annoyed guests who have paid lots of money to stay during a big conference (when hotels all put their prices up), and these guests are probably tired after an early morning flight, and potentially unable to get to their rooms until 5pm, I don't think it's good enough service. People mostly have large luggage bags and shouldn't be expected to drag them up and down the hills around this hotel, and around Cannes for hours while they wait to be checked in at 5pm. It is, frankly, ridiculous, not to have provisions made for these things. I know my view is shared by all of my 5 other colleagues who will all have paid lots of money to stay here, and to expect someone to be there during an afternoon where lots of people can be arriving, isn't a big request. When we eventually did get into our room (thanks to the maid who went beyond her duty to help everyone, with phone calls to management, and and locating keys, and all the time speaking in good English too!), we found the room was functional, albeit basic - e.g. small pillows, basic beds, a bedside lamp that was clearly in need of replacing, and basic bedding. There is a working bathroom with good water pressure ample hot water, and a hairdryer too (attached to the bathroom wall). There is also a TV, a kitchenette with some kitchenware, and a small balcony with a clothes hanger/dryer. However, some facilities are obviously lacking. For example. There is no iron or ironing board in the room. I had to share access to a hotel iron with my colleagues, and there is no ironing board available at all - in the entire hotel! These are basics that any hotel, or 'aparthotel' should be able to offer to their guests. There is also no daily cleaning or room make-up offered. Fresh towels are only provided if asked for. And some of the carpets in the corridors are in need of a deep clean - they had some very visible stains even despite being dimly lit. This hotel doesn't score well for me. I have stayed many times in Cannes during busy conferences, at places such as at the Abrial, the Kyriad, the Ibis, and Le Vendome. And the service was always better than this and staff were available during the day and evening for check-in or check-out. When I come back to Cannes I will try and stay elsewhere. I will give this hotel a very generous 3 out of 5 - mainly for the excellent maid who helped out with the check-in at 1pm on a Sunday - which shouldn't be her job to do. Also there was good water pressure and good hot water in the rooms, and also thanks to the staff who, after some difficult negotiation, eventually let us store our bags at the hotel in our room until our taxi arrived at 4.45pm. However I will probably look to stay elsewhere in future. There were too many negatives for all the positives, and these are all very basic and easy to fix problems. I mean really, how expensive is an ironing board to buy?
My husband and i spent 6 days here, it was clean, all appliances worked, receptionist was welcoming and polite, couldn't ask for more considering what we paid. The hotel is very central to everything especially train/bus station. The number 200 bus travels via Antibes, Juan Les Pins, Nice airport to its final destination Nice centre only costs 1.50 euro. Dont use the airport shuttle bus its costs 22 euro, cross the road main outside the airport and use the 200 and youl only pay 1.50 euro. Cannes has lots of great places to eat and drink, prices reasonable. We would def stay here again.
I booked in a hurry through booking.com which was a big mistake. Many appliances not working including microwave, two ring hob and kettle. Replacement two ring hob had wire over the sink, positively dangerous. The balcony was too small to take two chairs. The furnishings were tired and the whole room dreary and drab. We moved to another room which was slightly better but antiquated air conditioning which was very noisy. Flimsy curtain to the window let in light, so it was difficult to sleep. We had to ask for toilet rolls and toiletries. You are expected to empty your own bins and leave clean on departure. Only redeeming features were proximity to Cannes centre and very friendly helpful receptionist. The manager was surly complaining he was doing the best he could- not good enough I would say.
Idea place for cannes town. Centre of everything but set back, 2 mins walk from train station, 10-15 mins to the beach, in the cheaper area or normal, not uber rich. Hotel great value for me, clean, comfortable, Wifi didn’t use, If i had one complaint, it took a bit of working out, to get my key. as reception was closed. 8pm it seem. instructions on the door could be clearer, but after phoning the emergency number, sorted. Station taven nice local pub. Thank you. Think it's got something for everyone, uber rich keep to left (looking at the beach) sunbed for the day 28 euro's ? he he. but good normal beaches. town when i was there, great entertainment on the front (free). but real good well done Cannes. recommend old town lovely, also head round to the right past habour some great beaches and food. station taven nice one to get away with the locals.
I stayed here for a week during this year's Cannes Film Festival and considering the hotel is 10 minutes from the Croisette where all the action was- I couldn't have been happier. It's actually small studio apartments complete with kitchenettes. For the location- the price is as cheap as it gets which was good. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was great- has a small dining room area. And a wonderful, relaxing balcony. Plus the area of the hotel is pin drop quiet. I would def return here on another trip to the Cannes Festival!
