This hotel is in a perfect location as it is right by the train station and airport shuttle stop, super convenient when taking trips on the train to Nice and Monaco. It's a short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. Hotel is nice and quiet and comes with free snacks and aperitifs - massive bonus! It is super clean and bed is comfortable. There is also a small gym and sauna. Breakfast is decent, nice fresh croissants. Also has an outdoor terrace area which we made the most of. Highly recommended and will definitely return to this hotel when I next visit Cannes.
When the bus from airport arrived to Cannes and I saw OKKO just in front of my eyes I thought: what a great location! right by the trains station, right by bus station and close to beach and all attraction. All is within short walking distance. The hotel is like all-inclusive, has some appetizers all day long. I could not believe it. All these free food is a huge plus. The room is ok, clean even though very small which is normal for Europe. The only negative part is a bathroom. I am posting a picture of it. So no explanation. Very weird. The room is perfect for one person. Not so good for two. Would I stay there again? Yes! i hope they will change the design of the bathrooms shortly. This is what is in their plans anyway.
The hotel was in a great location, right next to the train station and a short walk from the promenade. The rooms were very small though but did have everything you needed. Two negative points about the room: 1) the pillows were awful - so uncomfortable. 2) the air con was not cold. When we asked reception to have a look at it because we thought it was faulty, they told us it would not go any lower than 20 degrees. These two things did make it quite hard to sleep. It was great to have movies included in the room rate, we enjoyed chilling with a film on a couple of nights before going to bed. The breakfast was nice, a little basic with a minimal selection, but it was of a good quality. The Aperitif in the evening was a nice touch. The selection of food and wine was really lovely. Would I stay again? If the pillows were changed and the aircon changed... probably. I’ve previously stayed in the Okko in Lyon which I absolutely loved, and was the main reason I chose this hotel. The Cannes Okko did disappoint a little in comparison but it’s great value for money and you’d not find anything better in the location and for the price with the amenities on offer.
I spent few nights in this hotel in July during my business trip. I found the hotel very comfortable due to multiple reasons: 1) Location of the hotel. About 10 minutes of walk and you're on the beach. Railway station just under the hotel. 2) Breakfast option - maybe not the best in a world but good enough. And there is a choice to sit inside with air conditioner or to enjoy an outdoor terrace with a nice city view. 3) Rooms are clean and modern, with quite good sound insulation.
We spent 2 nights in Cannes during our vacation and were extremely pleased with this hotel. First - its location cannot be beat. We were using the train to get around the south of France and not having to drag our huge bag across town was a huge perk. You are still within a 5-7 minute walk to the beach and a 2-5 minute walk to all of the restaurants and shopping in town. So the location cannot be beat! The best perk is the breakfast in the morning and apertifs in the evening! We got to enjoy both on the roof deck which overlooks Cannes. It is a great amenity. The lounge space is available throughout the day, so we were able to get coffee and water at any time. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our room was comfortable for 2 - we did not spend much time there as we were at the beach and walking around town. I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Cannes!
Excellent well located hotel. The rooms are small but are modern and well designed. The hotel is right next to the train station and close to restaurants and promenade. The concept of a free drink and finger food and free soft drinks/tea and coffee in the lounge is excellent- it is similar to the club experience in a lot of high end hotels. Additionally we left our passports in the safe in the room and on contacting the hotel they efficiently arranged for a secure courier service to our next destination. I would highly recommend this hotel as value for money
We spent a week here. Honestly, we would have rated it higher but for an incident that completely turned us off. The employees had incredibly inconsistent training/policies. When we checked in, we were told that breakfast was between X and Y hours only to realize this information was wrong. Room smelled funny (mold or bad septic system?). No beach towels! However, the worst part was on one of last days, we went to grab a drink from the refrigerator common/lounge area, as we had done throughout the entire trip. As we walked out of the lounge, we were told by the SAME girl who checked us in that drinks were 2 Euro unless we drank them in the lounge (in which case they were free). When we checked in, we were told (by the same girl!) that drinks were free throughout the entire day. This was not qualified with any additional information. Additionally, we had taken multiple drinks out of the lounge and no one ever said anything. We saw others guests do the same. Further, I saw guests fill up large, portable bottles with hotel drinks. No consistency in hotel policy.
We spent here few days during our summer holiday and we are delighted with experience. OKKO hotel is located next to train station, 3 minutes from la Croisette and beach. A lot of nice pubs and restaurants in hotel surrounding. Very friendly and helpful staff! Concept of having club as social area where you can chill and have free coffee and drinks during the day is fantastic. We never used Nespresso machine in our room, since coffee in Club is great. Breakfast is nice, as well as finger food in the evening. Plus you get welcome drink every evening in which you can enjoy on beautiful terrace. Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. It was fantastic stay in this hotel and we are looking to stay here again on our next visit to Cannes.
The hotel was ok, the floor its not very clean in our room, but its not very bad. The personal its friendly and happy. In mi opinion are the rooms not very plesant, but ok. All in one, i think its perfect to stay 1-3 night there, but not a longer time.
We stayed four nights at OKKO and loved it. As we were arriving and leaving by train it made sense to stay close to the station and we weren’t disappointed. The rooms are very well designed, not large, but everything is really well thought out. Comfortable bed, great shower, coffee machine, complimentary water bottles provided. The Club, on the top floor, does a great breakfast, and nibbles and drinks provided free of charge all day, then a glass of wine plus hors d’ouvres every evening. Only ten minutes walk to the beach, the main shopping street is close by, as is the old town. Markets also nearby and a huge choice of restaurants and bars virtually on the doorstep. Best hotel we’ve stayed at on our many and varied travels.
