The hotel is a short walk from the train station past a few nice cafes ideal for breakfast. Hotel was peaceful with a very goid sized spacious room for France. We had a double and a single bed with separate shower/bath and toilet. There were toiletries, coffee/ tea facileties, microwave and a Nespresso machine. Nespresso pods were replaced daily. Room always clean and tidy. Would have prefered proper cups and cutlery in the room rather than paper but you can get these from the downstairs restaurant. Also for ladies would be handy to have a magnifying mirror in the bathroom. There is only one small lift in the hotel but we never had any problems waiting for it and on the way down it was easy to get the stairs even from our 7th floor. Reception staff were very helpful with getting us extra hangers and fixing the light in the bathroom. We enjoyed our stay and liked the boat style decor in the room. When in Cannes will definately stay here again. Tbank you

As a traveller who prefers moderately large room size, I'm satisfied with the room we had at the Novotel Suite. The room's spacious enough and its in-room facilities include a Nespresso machine with 3 complimentary coffee capsules, a mini fridge with a small bottle of Evian, a kettle, a microwave & a safe - which all of these are not avalaible at the Ibis brand mark. We had a room just next to the Boulevard but zero noise with the multiple sound proof windows. However, despite its branding name, do not expect a Suite as to those of upper scale hotels like the Sofitel or other international hotel chains like the Hilton, Marriott, Radisson Blu etc. The toilets, the bathroom (comes with separate shower cabin & bathtub) and the part with the fridge & the microwave are configurated as an "in-built block" (cf pics). Breakfast comes in 3 different options; I opted for the buffet quite similar to the American breakfast, which is quite unusual if you're not staying in an upscale hotel. I was dissapointed that they ran out sausages during our 1-nite stay and the staff on duty was apologetic. On the overall, we had a great stay there despite it all. I just hope the Management will review their food provision supplies for sausage lovers like me 😉

The reception area of the hotel looks like a joke, the worst looking hotel reception I have seen. It just looked so cheap and tacky! We almost thought we had gone to the wrong place. The lift to the rooms is tiny! And the room had a horrible damp musty smell! I hated staying in the room, it didn't seem clean to me and I was so worried that I would catch something. I Will NEVER stay here again. What a horrid hotel! The only positive was that the breakfast staff were friendly.

Had a very enjoyable stay here in August. On arrival, we were greeted with a Welcome Note in the room, which was a nice touch. We were 2 Adults and 2 Older Children, and the Novotel Suites suited perfectly. Good Location, would def stay again. Re previous comments on the Car Park, it is maybe a bit tight in places, but it's not that bad, we had an Audi Estate and didn't have any issues.

The hotel: The lift and reception all are slightly small. The room is very spacious (a huge plus) though has an older feel to it. The bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. Everything was very basic, yet did not lack anything needed. The breakfast was not very good, mediocre, croissants very dry. Location: On the main road, 20 mins to the riviera (you can have a nice walk), but Ubering to the sea will cost you around 9 euros. Note: We forgot our a jacket in the closet there and asked for posting it, which the reception was willing to do, but they did not find the jacket anymore so the staff must have kept it to themselves or threw it out (which would be unlikely)...

I chose the hotel as its described as a 4 star hotel which i couldnt understand why its a 4 star hotel .. it should be a no star hotel. I am really disappointed. When we first entered the hotel i thought i am mistaking and i got out looking for the entrance which i couldnt found and i went back to the same place that was like a cafeteria and one lady standing at the cashier .. I asked her where is the reception of the hotel ? She said this is is the reception .. it has a fridge and a dining area .. i was really shocked. We checked in and asked if someone can help us with the bags as we had heavy bags. The receptionist said i am alone and no body can help you. The lift was really too small if you are 2 then its full and can barely close. A 4 star hotel doesnt have room service. When i call the reception to get anything from the house keeping such as: slippers, towles, dental kits .. etc they say come and collect it from the reception!! The corridors were very small and have no cctv which makes it unsafe. The toilet is very small and seperated from the shower .. if i knew about this i wouldnt book there. In general i had a very bad experience with this hotel. The staff are very unhelpful and the place was terrible and far away from the center. I dont recommend this hotel and i wont stay there again.

This was a very basic hotel. Disappointing for Novotel standards and definitely disappointing for the price we paid. The reception area looks like a nursery with kids pictures plastered all over the walls etc. Very basic amenities. The AC in our room was leaking so we had to change rooms a few days in to our stay.

It is close to the center, in one of the main accesses to Cannes. Large and clean rooms. negatives: only 1 elevator for the entire hotel. Waiting time, hell. Breakfast: friendly staff, but insufficient for the whole service. Clean tables, product placement ... food was always missing.

We came to Cannes for a friends wedding otherwise we would not come to this place but what a pleasant surprise that was. For 100 euros in August in French Rivera you have very practical suite with separate bath and shower and separate toilet too. On top of it you have microwave, fridge and a kettle. I did not find the room as big as other reviewers did. It was just average size room with fitted facilities and the curtain splitting the room. Double bed is comfortable with the choice of cushions. You can watch the TV while having a bath. The bus from the airport (56 euros for three) brings you to the hotel de ville which is 15 min walk to the hotel. It is really well kept, fresh, modern and clean. The decor is a bit like a hospital, very scando and no pictures. Painfully essential but you have what you need incl safe. There is a very good hairdresser opposite the hotel who did my wedding hair do in style worth the film festival. As the train station is so close, you can use it as a base to go anywhere on the French Rivera. We were pleasantly surprised. Common areas are not particularly impressive and reception staff is always busy. The minus of the place is a lift - allow 15 min to get out of your high floor before noon. Each arriving lift will be full of people with their luggage so you won't get on it until third attempt. They do housekeeping about 2-3 pm so you can sleep long without being disturbed but don't come back before. This is because the housekeeping trolley cannot get on the tiny lift when people use it in a AM peak times. Elite members are only offered non alcoholic drink for their voucher, which I found unusual for Accor but it was our first time in Novotel Suite. Cannes will last you for 2 days. Despite the show off, there is pleasant old part worth visiting and decent shopping options but it is not as good as you would expect. Beaches are sandy but two small stretches on the edges are public. The test is private with 60 euro entrance fee. The ones belonging to the hotels are not free even for the guests. Overall it is worth returning to this Novotel for the value for money and cleanliness.

This hotel is the best choice if you want to choose a hotel with a spacious room size in cannes.. walking distance hardly 100 steps from the train station. We were pleasantly surprised to see the room size. It was humongous as compared to the general room size in europe.. also there are two extra beds in the room so it can accommodate 4 people in the room easily..these suites have microwaves as well and a separate loo for bathing and separate for loo..so convinient. .. Definitely we chose the right place for our trip. ..excellent choice!!!!
