It was much better than expected, especially considering that we looked for a cheaper accommodation. Really spacious, proper aircon, big balcony, big bathroom, all good. It's obvious that it's not a 5 star hotel but definetly reccomend it. We've been in so called 4 stars hotels this summer and we didn't feel so comfortable as we've been here. after first night we even decided to stay one night longer. Easy to find, easy access at any time of day and not far from the closest side of the beach. Some restaurants really close and good kitchenette as well even if we didn't make use of it during our stay. Only things I can fault - felt the need for more light in the bathroom and more electric sockets as we constantly had to keep swapping our gadgets on charge with only wo that we could use. But that's not a deal breaker.

Fantastic for the price.

Price was great for what it was. Just needed bed and shower but this hotel had so much more to offer such as free parking and free wifi. Loval area was lovely too. Definetely would use again.

Pretty great motel

This place was a lot more than I expected, especially for the low price every worked fine the ac, it had a kitchen two freezers and even a washing machine how convenient. The rooms looked really nice two giant doors to let the sunlight in. management was friendly. It had a nice pool. Good location from the best beaches. Very comfortable. It was definetely worth the money. The only thing that was a problem was there was no maid service so our garbage piled up a bit. But we didn't stay long so it didn't matter.

The worst place in Europe : Motel Capsol

Before I start, let me say we stayed 17 days in Europe in all hotels that were frugal. Most were at least clean and the staff friendly. Not this one. 1) Bait and switch: We get to the Motel Capsol and the lady is not there, when she shows up she drives us 100 meters down the street to the hotel Acadia and says "this is the same": so that's what I am rating. 2) If you want to be in Cannes, don't be in this city. Mandelieu Napole is no where near Cannes, it takes at least 1 1/2 hours on the bus or a 30 euro taxi ride. I mean, you give up some comfort for cheap, but not like this. 3) The room smelled bad. Not comfy. In need of repair. VERY noisy from other rooms. 4) The clerk, and there was only one, couldn't give one crap about us. 5) Free Wi-Fi! Ooops, except at our end of the hotel. We were told we could use the lobby cafe....but it gets locked at night so you can just sit in the stairwell if you want it. 6) Cracked bathtup, broken toilet flush, and.....we were told to go to room 124 which we did. At 1AM someone unlocks our door. Turns out our key had 126 on it, their key had 124. But both keys worked in both doors! Since we were already settled they were kind enough to just trade keys and move in to 126. But the keys all work in all doors! Avoid at all costs. Even a crappy hotel closer to Cannes is a little more and couldn't possibly be worse.

Nice motel for a night or two, but not for longer.

If you are going to attend Cannes film festival, this is not the right place. It is far from the palais and there is no internet in the rooms or lobby, in case you wanted to work late night. Actually there is no lobby. There is only an office room serving as a lobby which closes after 7pm. There is no one, no motel staff to help you after 7pm, including complains about noisy guest next room. The staff, an old woman and a younger one, were very nice people and tried to help in every possible way, but they spoke no English whatsoever, so very difficult to communicate. The bus from Cannes leaves you in front of the motel, but it takes up to 30-45 min to get there and taking a taxi is expensive. I would only go back there if there is nothing left anywhere near Cannes.

Great value, great service

The lady who runs this hotel could not have been more accomadating. We were a large party and had booked what we thought was one room, in fact we ended up with 3 and she still only charged us for one. It was very clean although basic but easily met our needs for the stay. The only comment I would make is that the description says toiletries included and wifi available neither of which was the case.

Bon rapport qualité prix. Parking inclus gratuit très appréciable à Mandelieu. Petit déjeuner servi à table. Basic mais de qualité : orange pressée, confitures non industrielles. Très agréable l'accès direct au petit jardin à partir de la chambre.

Bonjour on nous avait dit qu’on nous mettrais le chauffage dans la chambre arrivé dans la chambre un froid pas possible à ce prix là vaut mieux allez dans de vrai hôtels ou le chauffage est déjà en marche un coin perdu personne à la réception je voulais passer un bon moment avec ma copine nous avons dû quitter la chambre la nuit même !!
