Smoke Smells, Shoddy Workmanship, & Shady Management

We booked this last minute, and werent expecting anything fancy, however, I expected a clean area, sans smoke inside the home, and working fixtures. None of these are true of this property. It reeks of smoke, had soiled towels that smell like theyve never been washed, dusty vents caked with black soot, a wall hanging toliet that was improperly hung (and falling off the wall), uneven and sharp tile transitions and corners from sloppy DIY "updates". Maybe the owner has fixed these things, maybe not, you certainly wont find photos that put your mind at ease or an honest response from the owner/manager if you choose to risk booking here. When we sought to address these issues he called us, made a bunch of promises that he assured us he would take care of of stay, and then acted like the conversation never happened the next day. He will say that his English is no good, to mask his conniving animosity towards any complaints which he finds incredulous. Renter beware, recommend choosing elsewhere.
