We have a suite, #11. The room looks clean, beautifully decorated. It has a huge bathroom with all nice amenities. The room look exactly like in the photos. Our children enjoyed the comfort of the room. The front desk reception was very helpful and friendly. We have an issue with weak wifi and they offer alternative solution. We did not take up the offer for breakfast coz there are many cafes around the hotel. It is located just 5 mins away from the shopping belts and restaurants. Good service, we will return.
I'm still at the hotel whilst writing this review ( my last day of holidays). On 31.08.2017 cash has been stolen from my room (150 eur). That was a shocking experience mostly because I'm a solo traveller (I understand that this is why I have been targeted) and I'm still in the hotel and it doesn't feel safe at all. The staff was not helpful at all, moreover the manager assistant(Celine) was very rude and made inappropriate comments (more details to be provided upon request). Went to the police station(50 m) and filled a request. This took me 2 hours ( nice way of spending the last day of summer). Policemen were really nice btw. The manager assistent told me that 2 persons had access to my room in my absence but obviously she didn't bothered to investigate more, as she was constantly defending her staff. That't not the last time that these kind of incidents will happen. Usually thieves don't stop. For your own safety and mindfulness, please avoid this hotel. Now you're warned. I see that the management of the hotel is proud about their rating on trip advisor, maybe my feedback will be an incentive to investigate more into the matter.
This hotel is in a good location just a few minutes walk from the centre of Cannes which offers a huge selection of restaurants and bars. The room was spacious, super comfortable and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was continental style with plenty of choice including meats, cheeses and pastries - would recommend this hotel.
It is such a charming boutique Hotel in Cannes. For me, it's a great location since it was close to everything but also AWAY from the foot traffic and the noises. I was there during the Cannes Film Festival so the it was crazy everywhere. The staff was friendly and professional. They brought in 2 bottles of wine when I first check in and continue to replenish it for my stay of 12 days.
We stayed at Hotel Renoir only one night. The front desk was very helpful and friendly. The room was bigger and clean but not so modern in my opinion, but I guess this is the style of the hotel. Free wifi and 5 min walking to the city center. Overall a good choice.
Hotel tries to come across as boutique, but would have to say its more budget boutique than chic luxury. Fair play to the photographer - he has done his job as pictures are deceiving as the hotel is very small, the bar area seats about 10 people and that is also where they serve up breakfast. Is very sad. Elevator fits 2 at a push and no more. Room was ok if a little small, but overlooked a bunch of garages below. Bathroom was nice. Bed was huge and comfy and the location is good, albeit next to the police station. Beach is about a 10-15 minute walk away. Hotel does have a sister hotel which has a beach area/restaurant, but you still have to pay €25 for a sunbed which I found a bit of a joke that you have to pay to go. All in all our opinion of Cannes was negative, its not pretty & everything is highly overpriced and we just couldn't see what the fuss was all about.
A small hotel close to the station and near to the nightlife and beaches of Cannes. We had a small mix up at check-in but all was sorted quickly and we were even given a free glass of wine. Rooms are clean with all mod cons. Breakfast is buffet style and good choice. Staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel has a beach which is 10 minutes walk away and has a reduced rate of 15 Euro each per day.
We stayed here for four nights in June. The place is clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It's not in the middle of everything, which I personally like, but about a 10 minute walk from the palais and the shopping and restaurants. Our room was on a high floor facing away from the beach, and also the traffic, which meant it was quiet. Great breakfast buffet. The wi-if was irregular, at best, as was the air conditioning--a must in the heat and humidity of Cannes. For these reasons, and for the past-it's-prime shag carpet in the room, I'm giving it only 4 stars.
It was a pleasant surprise to have gotten a call on the day of to confirm our arrival time at the hotel. It was nice to know that we were thought of and that a room will be ready for us when we get there. The hotel staff was so very friendly and helpful. We were taken to our room, and it was a very pretty and we really appreciated the bathroom set up where the toilet and the shower and sink were separated and both closed off from the bed/living area. I liked that we were not situated right in the middle of everything where it might be a little louder or busy, yet it was very walkable. Good shower pressure, comfy bed, and the price was very reasonable. t was
We booked for one night as we were travelling by train from London and it is a 5/10 minute walk. The next day we were boarding a ship which was only a 10/15 minute walk so altogether very convenient. Also near La Croisette which was a short walk away. Absolutely charming staff and a lovely welcoming lobby. Immaculate room and very comfortable. We had a Juliet balcony and all facilities were beautiful and impeccably clean. We would definitely stay again.
