our room at the hotel Renoir was luxury and location within walking distance if all main tourist attractions of Cannes including public beaches fantastic value for money. The staff were welcoming friendly and helpful, speaking in English when our French was not so good.
I wasn't sure what to expect here as the price was pretty reasonable but I was pleasantly surprised. Right from the moment we arrived, the welcome was very warm. The staff were very friendly and offered local information. Our room was ready even though we arrived prior to check in time and it was lovely - with stylish and unique decor. It was large and had a comfy bed. The double opening doors with Juliet balcony were a nice addition and made the room light. The bathroom was very big and had a nice shower and bath with a separate toilet. There were nice added extras such as dressing gowns and lovely toiletries. The hotel location was perfect, just a short walk from a central street and the seafront. And amazingly quiet given how close it is to a main road. Couldn't believe how nice the hotel was for the price - definitely come here!
We chose this hotel because it appeared to fulfil the criteria we were looking for in Cannes and it didn't disappoint! We prefer small hotels with a more personal touch - this is certainly the case with this hotel. We had booked and paid in advance for our room then the day before we were due to fly out our flight was cancelled. We managed to get a flight the following day but we needed to adjust our hotel booking. The staff at the Renoir were very helpful and sympathetic. No extra cost was incurred and we were greeted warmly on our arrival. The front of house team we met - Franck and Amelie are charming and very helpful with useful advice. The location is just perfect - five minutes walk from the railway station and with all the sights in both the old town - Le Suquet - and the resort of fashionable Cannes in very easy walking distance. Buses to other villages and resorts in the area all seem to go from the train station (another big plus). Our room was spotless and comfortably furnished with a very good bathroom supplied with plenty of toiletries. In our room there was plenty of hanging space and one very useful addition - a GPS device for our use in and out of the hotel - invaluable for the ' I Player' and internet etc. Once again - as in many medium priced continental hotels there was no tea and coffee facilities in our room - you could of course had room service - but for us this gave the excuse for the ' Virtually Faultless' in the title instead of 'Faultless'. We chose to breakfast at local patisseries but the hotel offers a good value breakfast option for those preferring to eat at the hotel. We felt for a continental hotel the Renoir offered exceptional value for money and knowing how much we love Cannes there will be no hesitation in making it our hotel of choice for all future visits!
Very friendly and helpful staff with great recommendations for a memorable evening meal at Astoux et Brun in Cannes. Chic and trendy room but overlooking a very busy road which could be heard in spite of the excellent double glazing.
My husband and I stayed here 13th Feb-15th Feb for a romantic Valentines Trip in Cannes. This is without a doubt one of the best places we have stayed. The wonderful warm wlecome we received on arrival was genuine and charming and this level of outstanding service continued through out our stay. Our room 202 was lovely, beautiful and clean and tastefully decorated. The bathroom was great with a big bath, great toiletries and lovely dressing gowns. The downstairs bar / breakfast area is trendy and welcoming. On each night the wonderful host arranged us dinner in a very busy Cannes. Highly recommended and return we will. Thank you Renoir you are GREAT !! xxx
This was a great little hotel in Cannes. It is a boutique hotel and should not be equated to Hilton and Marriott hotels. The rooms are very pleasant and large, I had room 3 which is below the ground floor. The room has a lovely terrace with direct access to the street. The hotel is situated about a 2 -3 minute walk from the Casino and the harbour. There are plenty of shops within a 5 minute walk of the hotel including the Train Station. The entrance to the hotel has a flight of steps (about 8 - 10 steps) but does have a handicap lift to aid travelers up the steps. There is a small lift in the hotel, and I just sent the luggage (2 cases) downstairs and walked. Wifi was very good, and breakfast was great with freshly squeezed Orange juice and eggs to order. The breakfast corner is tastefully organised but very small, so be prepared to get to know your fellow travelers. The staff was very polite and and responded quickly to any issues. Overall a great stay for the #IGTM2017 golf conference
Lovely and charming hotel, located away from the central hustle and bustle but close enough to all the main sights. The rooms are very nicely decorated, spacious, clean and quiet. Bed is super comfy and big. Amenities are also great (for example- shower oil capsules!) they made mistakes twice on my breakfast room service, but generally everything else was great. Really enjoyed my 4 night stay and would recommend.
Hotel is very well located, within easy reach of main shops, port, rail station. The staff were all very good, managers, Aurelien and Franck were particularly helpful. Our transfer (booked in the UK) to the airport didn't arrive and we had to travel on the airport bus, Franck personally took us to the bus stop to ensure we got to the right place. We enjoyed our stay in this pretty hotel with extra special staff.
Stayed here with my mother at the beginning of July. Lovely boutique hotel. Had a room with two twin beds. Very spacious and pleasant room. Bathroom was fair sized. The staff at the front desk is incredibly friendly and helpful. Hotel is located on a side street about a twenty minute walk to the beach. We enjoyed our stay here immensely. Everything was perfect at this hotel. Would definitely return here again.
We have a suite, #11. The room looks clean, beautifully decorated. It has a huge bathroom with all nice amenities. The room look exactly like in the photos. Our children enjoyed the comfort of the room. The front desk reception was very helpful and friendly. We have an issue with weak wifi and they offer alternative solution. We did not take up the offer for breakfast coz there are many cafes around the hotel. It is located just 5 mins away from the shopping belts and restaurants. Good service, we will return.
