We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights while on a tour in May. While the location is on the main shopping street, it's incredibly quiet at night. It's 1 block to Croisette street, which is the street along the beach. Room 104 is in the front on Rue de Antibes (hi-end, pricey stores). The room has a king bed, safe, separate toilet, but the sink drainage is terrible! We had to swirl the water to make it drain. The sink is around 1 1/2" deep making it impossible to rinse out any clothing. Diagonally across from the hotel is a nice restaurant, Bamboo (see my separate review). The side streets have lots of restaurants
I liked the staff in this hotel. Everyone is exceptionally friendly and service oriented. However, when it came to the spa the place is really disappointing. The hottub was empty (in the middle of Cannes Festival week, mind you). The Turkish sauna was barely warm. The pool was cold, which would make total sense if the sauna and hot tub were working. The location of this hotel is near all of the great places in Cannes. Not too far from the festival and close to best beaches. The place is clean. I didn't try their food because we were eating in other places. Overall - a good place to stay and sleep at night at a reasonable price. Do not expect any fancy titbids out of it but it works location and service wise.
Something about this hotel left a very bad taste. Not sure if it is booking.com or the hotel itself that extracts the full amount of your room a week before you even put a foot inside and then they send you a mail to bring your credit card that booked the hotel with your id. Normally when you check in to a hotel that is when they ask for your credit card and id. You are treated as if you are a crook before you even appear. The hotel room that normally is under 100 EUROS is 400 EUROS during the Cannes Film Festival. Maybe this is normal but it feels in very poor taste. If you want to triple the room rate then make a little effort to give something more...For instance Instead of a ceramic cup or a glass in the bathroom it is paper, I wonder financially which is more expensive? At any rate the location is the best thing I can say about this not very luxury 4 star hotel.
Clean modern stylish 4 star hotel and Spa situated one block back from the seafront on a one way Street surrounded by shops and cafes. Welcoming staff in reception with restaurant on ground floor and elevator to bedrooms and spa/pools. Front rooms overlook Street and rooftops toward seafront. Rear rooms overlook expressway and mountains but very quiet with double glazed windows. Clean modern comfortable rooms with everything you may need including air conditioning, iron, hairdryer, toiletries, bathrobes, safe, kettle with tea/coffee and minibar fridge. Only one elevator so long wait when busy. Great selection for breakfast buffet. Better than two other hotels I have stayed in nearby but can be expensive depending on the season. Didn't try dinner as plenty of choice nearby. Would definitely recommend depending on your budget.
The Eden Hotel and Spa is better than others I've seen. The rooms were clean and light. As is standard in France the bed was two mattresses pushed together which can be uncomfortable. The toilet was separated from the rest of the bathroom which was strange. I enjoyed the breakfast downstairs. There aren't any perks to this hotel, it's just a fine place to sleep while you're in town for the festival.
We came to have a nice getaway evening and honestly, it was a good place for that. The room was big and cozy, the bed was very big and covered with many pillows. I have no bad words, maybe just that the relax area (hammam, jacuzzi and pool) was too crowded. Also the check in and out time are too late and early!
Great place where to stay. I stayed at this hotel because I had to attend a conference to a hotel nearby. Room is quite big with a nice bathroom. Breakfast with several different choices. In the lobby since Halloween was approaching there was a huge tray with a lot of different candies. Nice
A nondescript hotel along Rue d'Antibes but it's what inside that counts . Well maintained rooms and at the 7th floor , can view the Cannes skyline . Room with balcony is great ! Only missing is complimentary mineral water each day .
The staff and cleaners are doing the their best. My room smelled so damp I had to buy candles and make sure to open the windows when I could to air out the room as the bathroom had no ventilation or extractor fan. My room and bed were clean but very dated and the wood laminate covering the wardrobe and headboard needs updating. I didn't try the facilities due to reviews. WiFi didn't really work well. Staff were polite but I wouldn't stay there again if I had a choice.
I arrived to the Hotel at 14 and the room was not ready yet. Internet is simply not working. Elements broken in the shower system. AC noisy and not working properly. Cleaning far of being enough. Bed done in a bad manner every day. You should be away of this place. It should be ranked as cheaper hostal.
