The worst place ever, the worst experience in my life!!! I arrived at the place at 21:30 pm and I got my room at 0:30 pm next day!!!! None at the reception desk, no indications about how to get the room!!! Once finally got the keys of the room, no number not way to know which was my room!!! I PAID FOR THE PRIVATE PARKING AND I DID NOT USE IT BECAUSE NONE GIVE ME THE CODE TO ACCESS!! Nobody answer Mails nor phone calls!!! The place is awfully dirty!!! I do not recommend it under no circumstances!!!
I booked this apartment type of hotel mainly because of the location. I took my boys there for a French lesson camp. Which is only few minutes drive away. The carpet is dirty, you have to buy own toilet paper, swimming pool is small and probably not that clean ,we didn't use it; only two minutes drive to carrefur so very convenient for shopping; 15 minutes drive to city center; a place for convenience stay not for luxury.
This place is terrible. I'm staying here for one month and I wish I read the Tripadvisor reviews before I booked. The staff at the reception is doing their best to make things work, but unfortunately they are the only ones. The place is dirty and nobody seems to care. In two weeks they cleaned my showe once. And the sink in the bathroom they barely swiped over. The floor carpet seems to be from the 80-ies, and it looks like it's never been cleaned. When lightbulbs go, you have to ask them every day for one week before they change them. When they "clean" they don't take out the garbage, nor do they fill up with toilet paper. The aircon barely works now after having asked them since I moved in 2 weeks ago to fix it. Tiles are broken, the mold is coming through the painting in the bathroom.. it's just discusting. I'm so sad I booked and paid it all in advance, could not cancel without looking my money. But staying here for one month.. it's just terrible. Even some guests here from last year put a note on everything they had Bern complaining about on the inside of the door, pretty much the same things as I've been complaining about - and the note is still there!!! Don't book this place!
This can be a really good value place to stay, I use it frequently. The staff are now much nicer and helpful but the general condition of some of the apartments is appalling. No TV remote (so no TV) air con didn't work in the first apartment I had (in fact it went bang when I turned it on) lights not working etc. Forget wifi it dosen't work, don't pay for it.. Carpet you would not walk on barefoot. You could see that it had been cleaned as best as possible by the staff, but the maintenance was laughable. Most people would find this totally unacceptable, even at the low prices for the area. No apology from reception just a shrug and smile. They found it funny. You can see why this place is number 80 out of 86 hotels in the Antibes area on some websites.. I would hesitate to pay next time until I see where I am staying. But at those prices it's tempting to go back.
Was a bit nervous about staying here due to some poor reviews. However we were in a group an the hotel was booked by a friend. Pleasantly surprised by the hotel which was clean and provides a good base for travelling around the south of France. You do need a car as the hotel is a few KM outside Antibes but on the way up to Valbonne. Rooms were clean and very good value which is what we were looking for.
We stayed as couple within the group of package tour between 6 and 7 july 2017. Hotel is small. The Rooms are ok, bathroom is clean. There is a bus stop where buses departs and arrives till 12 midnight. The journey takes 20 minutes to city center. Walking to very center of the city is more than 45 minutes. Train Station is 30 minutes walk. The breakfast Buffet is ok. Rooms and bathrooms are clean and middle size Rooms.
Not too bad. We had an issue as we arrived after working hours and reception was closed. Before travel make sure you got your name in English through Booking and you receive all pass codes for gates and entrance and for parking access. No free wifi, only on first floor.
This is my firs bad review on Tripadvisor!!! This hotel was a shock for me, because we stayed in Appart City in Montpellier and it was quite nice and clean, but this one...... The room was dirty, I was afraid to touch anything in bathroom. But hopefully the linen was clean. The reception doesn't work late at night or early in the morning. And it also was a surprise.
Terrible hotel! Sooooo dirty. Smelled like a beer bar. There was puke on the wall, mold in the shower, BLOOD on the blanket. NO personnel before from noon to 3 pm and 8 pm to 8 am. They only speak french, although they advertise the contrary. Terrible experience!!!!
We got a lot of room, a pool and a balcony for our money. And the staff were very flexible about putting our key in a safety box, since our train was delayed and we could only check in late after the hotel's open hours. That said, I have to mention we were glad, we only had to stay at the place for one night! The hallway floors had a lot of big stains and the dirty laundry from the morning was thrown in a big pile just beside of our doorstep. Inside the apartment a rotten smell welcomed us - it came from the toilet, that didn't seemed neither used nor cleaned for months. The towel hangers were dusty, the floor as well, and we found mold in the ceiling above the shower. In addition, the hotel is located 5km from the old and charming part of Antibes, which gives sense to the name of the place: Apart (from the) City. We would at any other visit prefer to stay at a hostel or a flat from AirBnb.
