Large stunning modern log cabin with kids/adults playroom.

Open spaces abound inside and out with this two-story log home. Locally sourced logs, cedar shakes, and an arch-covered porch welcome home. The great room centerpiece has a 20+ft cathedral ceiling allowing an abundance of natural light. Warm yourself by the stacked stone fireplace with a hammered copper insert.

The oversized kitchen gas cooktop with a griddle, a large island, and plenty of room for the sunlit dining area in the breakfast nook.

A large primary suite with a full bathroom is located on the main floor with a fabulous vaulted ceiling and walk-in closet.

Three additional bedrooms, two with full private baths are located upstairs. A fourth full bathroom is located off the kitchen.

There's plenty of parking for 5-6 vehicles. A gas grill is located near the upper garage.

There is a private office that is located on the main floor.

On the main level, there is a fun game room with a large Smart TV, couches, a table, a ping pong table, a mini pool table, and a foosball table for all to enjoy.

Amazing!

2nd time renting this home. Everything is perfect and top shelf. Have never had to call anyone to take care of something. Everything is taken care of before you get there. One cannot find anything negative about this place.We have rented quite a few homes and this one ranks #1!

Family Reunion in North Carolina

I highly recommend this property. If I could give it more than five stars, I would. The Asheville area is wonderful place for a vacation. Family members from Ohio, Colorado, Maryland and Georgia gathered for a reunion in Candler where one of my daughters lives. The house was ideal with plenty of space for our group. The venue was beautifully decorated and was located in a spectacular setting. The amenities were plentiful and appropriate for all ages. Although we are all adults, a family with children would find lots of games and equipment for people of all ages. We hope to be able to return on an annual basis.

Great for families

The property met our expectations. We had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy games and late nights without disturbing others. We spent a lot of time in the game room. The personal touches from the host were especially nice. I would advise guests to bring eye masks. The rooms do not have blinds or room darkening curtains and we found ourselves being blasted by the sun at 6:45AM. This was particularly problematic for the 4 month old baby trying to have a nap during the day.

Outstanding Roomy Home

We truly enjoyed our stay in Robins Nest. Our agent Darlene was available and responsive. Lots of space inside and out. You could tell the house was well built. No creaking floors or misfitting doors, drawers or cabinets. The garage rec room was full of games with lots of diversions. We spent a lot of time there. The overall decor is not for everyone but it was high quality, artistic and fun to experience as a renter. Just a couple of caveats, 3 of the bedrooms are magnificent. Spacious, comfortable, well appointed. The 2nd floor 4th bedroom is fine but considerably smaller and the bathroom for it is on the first floor. Also, if you are looking to spend most of your time in Asheville, know that it is a good 20 minute drive to town. But we knew that going in and made the tradeoff between proximity and amenities. I did a lot of research and would rent it again.

80th Birthday Celebration

House was LARGE and beautiful. Game room. Large dining room. Two master suites. Kitchen was adequately furnished with plates and silverware. About a 20 minute drive to downtown historic section of Asheville. Also, very convenient for scenic mountain drive. The location of the home does not afford much of a view of the mountains. But, for our specific needs, the property worked very nicely. House was beautifully decorated. Highly recommend this rental.

Super comfortable home with plenty of space to enjoy time with friends and or privacy. The home, the artwork is amazing and the flowers blooming all around the home make it a truly beautiful time to sit outside and enjoy nature! I was hoping to see a bear but that did not happen!

Beautiful house in a beautiful setting... we enjoyed every minute there. The snacks were a very pleasant surprise. We will definitely rent Robin's Nest again when we come back to Ashville.

This house is new, beautifully decorated, extremely clean and well-furnished. It was exactly as described and suited our needs perfectly. It is a short drive from all that Asheville has to offer. The owners are responsive, helpful, and thoughtful. Overall, staying here was a fantastic experience, and I would recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in the Asheville area.
