The house layout for a 2 family vacation, with 2 bedrooms on each floor. All of the king beds were comfortable and the space was great. While there were a few minor problems with the house (missing shower curtain and leaking sink) they were resolved quickly by All Mountain Rentals which manages the property. Unfortunately the AC unit in one of the bedrooms leaked the first day/night soaking the carpet and leaving a mildew smell for our entire week stay. But the biggest issue of the house was the mice. The check in email said “ Most properties in the woods of NH have mouse and ant traps. Avoid leaving scraps of food out to avoid ants/mice.” Had I known of the mice infestation before booking I never would have stayed at this property. When we arrived there was mouse droppings in the pot in the pans in the cabinets, visible loaded mouse traps in the bathroom, as well as mouse droppings near the coffee pot and toaster. After searching for a new property with no luck, we throughly cleaned surfaces and cooking items. We were vigilant about not leaving food items out but each morning, there were more dropping in the kitchen and on the countertops. I understand being a property in the woods but an exterminator should be called to address this situation before the house is rented out again. We were throughly disappointed with our accommodations and I hope this issue is resolved for the next renters.
