The house itself was great and we had a really nice time staying there. It is worth noting - it’s on the top of a mountain that does give great views but really requires 4 wheel drive. If you’re going in the winter, know it’s pretty treacherous. Also - it was painful trying to get a hold of anyone that could help with internet that was not working. Had fine cell service in most of the house but the internet didn’t work the entire time we were there which isn’t great when you’re on the top of a mountain.

We stayed a weekend in July. Had an event at Owls nest. House was clean, well stocked, nice decor, view was amazing. Needed more AC perhaps, moist in basement, musty smell. Near the venue, but Road to get there was very steep and winding. Dark at night and treacherous in rain, or I can only imagine snow! Wish I knew this ahead of time, So we’d opt to stay on Owls property next time, was too inconvenient to go up and down this crazy hill to get to a store or anywhere. Clubhouse had lots of amenities, but tag only includes one guest and have to pay 20 per person and pay to rent equipment like paddles for pickleball, and more money to rent towels. Driveway hard to park in with multiple vehicles, and tough to get out of. Dark at night around property. Limited dining options nearby. Overall, ok stay. Probably would not stay again because of the hill.

Under construction
Property was unlivable- bottom floor had zero livable space (3 bedrooms not usable- no floors, beds, furniture, etc.). No one communicated any of this to us prior and the property was still rented out. We have 4 young children and had to scramble to find a new house to stay in for the weekend late at night. The rental company worked with us to find a new property however. CHECK WITH OWNER BEFORE BOOKING.

Girls Christmas Weekend
We stayed for two nights for our annual girls Christmas weekend. The house was beautiful and the views were stunning. The fireplace, comfortable living room, kitchen and dining table were perfect for our needs. We had been hoping for a little snow to make it feel Christmasey, and we got our wish. However, what the write up for the house does not tell you is that the section of mountain the house is on is a private mountain that does not get plowed unless there is 4" or more snow. That includes the driveway. It snowed pretty much the entire time we were there on and off, and the last morning we woke up to another 6". Which is no big deal to women born and raised in New England, had we driven four wheel drive vehicles! One of us had a small SUV that handled the drive up and down the hill (which was a little treacherous) but another woman got her smaller car stuck in the driveway. We contacted Vacasa, who is the management company for this house and we were told to look for a shovel and to hand shovel the entire driveway out. We were thankful that we were able bodied enough to do so. Had we not been able to, I would have had to call AAA. While we enjoyed the house and our weekend very much, the management of the snow left us disappointed. To whomever is planning a winter stay, just be sure to be ready to shovel and drive a 4 x 4! :)

Truly Amazing!
Overall, this was an easy 5/5 stay for myself and my family (6 adults). We were taking a trip up to celebrate my parents' 70th birthdays, and this house had it all. The view was truly spectacular, the kitchen was really well stocked and a great area to gather to cook some meals. The 50's room was awesome, perfect for some Mario Kart game sessions, and it gave us great access to some of the local tourist attractions. I would 100% recommend this Vrbo to others.
Note: The only downside was that the wi-fi was spotty at times (which was frustrating when we were trying to watch a sports game) - but this is in the mountains of New Hampshire, so I'm grateful there was wi-fi at all (and it worked well most of the time). Also, bring extra dishwasher pods, paper towels, and other supplies if you intend to use the kitchen a lot. There was a starter pack of supplies provided, but that only lasted us a couple of days.

Great place to stay!
Had an error with the house upon entering in but was quickly resolved with VRBO and management of household. House was beautiful and had amazing views. The large layout of the house was able to keep everyone sleeping soundly. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone wanting a quiet getaway.

Week on the Mountain
We had a perfect stay at this magnificent property. The space is efficient and well appointed. We had cloudy days and sunny days and there was an unmistakable charm to both. Very easy access to Loon, Waterville Valley, North Woodstock and Plymouth. We had lunch on the lake in Meredith one afternoon (35 min scenic drive). The drive up the hill could be daunting in bad weather but did not present any problem for us. I would highly recommend.

It Really is Amazing
We went to Plymouth for a wedding at the Barn on the Pemi. This house was about a 15 minute drive up in the mountains with a spectacular view. The pictures are accurate. The drive is a little steep and winding in places but an easy drive to everywhere we needed to go. You would need AWD or 4WD in the winter. We had great weather so no problems.
The house was spacious, clean, and well equipped. It met all of our needs, including hosting a family dinner before the wedding. We couldn't have asked for a better location or accommodations. While there are plenty of TVs, there is no cable or live TV. You need to stream using your own sign-ins for your service. That wasn't completely clear to us. And we did have a little problem figuring out how to access our services but eventually figured it out. Better instructions would be helpful.
Aside from that minor issue, we would definitely recommend this house if you need to visit Plymouth, NH.

Great stay
The accommodation was excellent. Kitchen and communal areas were superb. Just a few things to mention:
In the main living area, shades on the windows would have been appreciated.
The right hand double bedroom downstairs was very damp around the windows. Carpets were wet.
Upstairs double. Cupboard unlocked which contained personal items of the owners.
Generally great stay.

Beautiful location. Perfect VRBO
Great location and house for 8-10. Many kitchen appliances, cookware, quality cutlery, etc. Perfect for cooking large meals. Double oven. Quality grill. Living room is perfect for relaxed meetings and conversation. The “soda shop” bedroom/living area is, honestly, a very fun space. We’ll try to return here every few months to continue our workshop experience.
