VILLA BENEDETTA, Casa Marcello # 2

Villa Benedetta is located in Garfagnana, a very ancient and rich in traditions geographical region of Tuscany. It was erected in 1636 and hosted the Este nobles, in particular the Duke of Modena Francesco IV D Este who stayed there to perform hunting trips. The apartments have been created inside the very suggestive villa whose loggia, paved in stone, immediately transports the visitor into an ancient atmosphere. The location of the building dominates the valley. Exposed to the south / east, it enjoys sunlight for almost the whole day. The front garden, and the splendid swimming pool with sun loungers and deck chairs, allow you to rest in full relaxation. While, the ancient stone source with its spring water will help to brighten your stay. The environment is also particularly suitable for children. Relevant to the villa is the ancient family oratory which, on request, can be visited like other parts of the building.

The "Casa Marcello" apartment consists of a double bedroom, a bedroom with two single wrought iron beds, a private bathroom, a kitchen and a lounge with a two-seater sofa bed with direct access to the veranda.

Tuscany dream break

We have enjoyed a very relaxing week in the Villa Benedetta. Such a wonderful place in a very quiet location with wonderful views and nice swimming pool. Special thank you to Paolo, very attentive host.

a wonderful place

Excellent in all respects with a wonderful host in Paulo. We had a wonderful time in this very peaceful place and Paulo's Pizza night was brilliant. There is a little shop in the village which has most things and welcomes the business from the few tourists that are around.

It was absolutely stunning,the Pool was georgous and Paolo literally IS the best Host! He was very kind and accommodating and is keeping His House,Garden and Pool in the best possible way.And we were wondering from the comments why everyone is so obsessed with his self-made Pizza he does once a week for every guest and YES IT WAS GREAT The best Pizza ever and such a nice way to make everyone feel warmly Welcome.We will definately come Back!

Dieser Ort ist ein Kleinod! Wunderbar! Wir waren dort mit unseren Teenies (13 und 17) und Hund. Wir sind liebevoll, aber auch sehr angenehm zurückhaltend, aufgenommen worden. Paolo ist top! Ein Mensch zum Umarmen! Offen für Alles, wenn gewünscht. Einfach da. Toll!Die Wohnung war super sauber! Platz für alle und alles. Alles da wie erwartet. Unsere Kids hätten jeweils ein eigenes Zimmer gut gefunden, aber das wußten wir ja vorher. Uns hat bis auf ein scharfes Küchenmesser nichts gefehlt, das haben wir da gelassen :-)Wir haben jeden Moment genossen! Zu unserer Zeit war es extrem heiß, aber das alte Gemäuer ist wunderbar kühl, der Pool tut sein Übriges. Wie von selbst hat es sich arrangiert, dass wir dort fast immer für uns waren. Der Balkon ist ab Mittag im Schatten. Wir haben Stunden, incl. Abendessen dort verbracht. Der Ausblick ist traumhaft. Und bei Gewitter ein Hit!Der Weg vom Parkplatz waren 125 Schritte steil bergauf. Der erste Tag war schwer (aber Paolo hat unser komplettes Gepäck abgeholt).Schön ist, wenn man von Mal zu Mal fitter wird. Aber etwas vergessen und nochmal laufen ist lehrreich :-) !Die Einwohner des Dorfes sind sehr freundlich. Der kleine Dorfladen ließ keine Wünsche offen.Und auch unser Hund gehörte wie selbstverständlich dazu.Eine wunderbare Zeit!Wünsche wir Ihnen auch!

Heerlijk verblijf gehad in een authentiek deel van Toscane. De accomodatie was erg comfortabel met een zeer sfeervolle inrichting. Op het balkon kun je uren genieten van de wijdse omgeving en krijg je een inkijkje in het leven in het kleine dorpje Sillicano. De gastheer Paolo maakte het verblijf zeer bijzonder. Hij was op de achtergrond en altijd beschikbaar voor een vraag of een praatje of een suggestie voor een goed gesprek een suggestie voor een restaurant of leuk uitstapje. Begrijpelijk dat er zoveel terugkerende gasten zijn. Wij hopen ook graag terug te komen.

Ein schöner, ruhiger Urlaub

Uns hat die authentische Einrichtung der Unterkunft sehr gefallen: die alten Möbel, die Dekoration - man hat sich wie in einem alten Schloss gefühlt. Der Pool und die Unterkunft sind sauber und der Gastgeber sehr nett. Die folgenden Punkte hätten wir uns in der Beschreibung etwas deutlicher gewünscht: - Es gibt einen Balkon. - Die erwähnte Veranda ist nicht der Balkon. - Es gibt keinen direkten Zugang zum Balkon (für diese Wohnung) - Man muss sich den Balkon mit einer anderen Wohnung (die einen direkten Zugang hat) teilen. Mit dem erwähnten "direkten Zugang zur Veranda" ist vielleicht der Bereich vor der Toilette gemeint: Diese befindet sich außerhalb der Wohnung (dafür mit direktem Zugang) und verfügt über eine Sitzgelegenheit (mit Blick auf den Garten/Hang). Die letzten 100m (und 35 Höhenmeter) können bzw. sollten wegen der allgemeinen Enge der Gassen nicht mit dem eigenen PKW zum Be- und Entladen zurückgelegt werden (Paolo hilft sehr gerne mit seinem Auto). Man muss ohnehin unten parken und braucht genug Luft, Einkäufe nach oben tragen zu können. Es ist ratsam, scharfe Messer mitzunehmen. Sonst hat die Ausstattung der Küche keine Wünsche offen gelassen. Für Kinder ist es eine spannende Umgebung und Paolo ein sehr kinderlieber Gastgeber. Unsere Kinder wurden jedoch in ihrem Schlaf durch uns gestört, da wir durch ihr Zimmer in unser Schlafzimmer mussten. An einem Abend gab es Pizza und Bomboloni aus Paolos historischem Holzofen. Super lecker, Danke dafür.

Wir waren zu 6 als Freundesgruppe dort, und hatten sehr viel Spaß. Man braucht zwar unbedingt ein Auto, wenn man nicht nur in der Wohnung bleiben will, man muss ja auch einkaufen, aber ansonsten war es sehr schön. Freundlicher Gastgeber und alles sehr sauber!

Erholsame Zeit in historischer und idyllischer Umgebung

Liebevoll wurde das gesamte Objekt als auch die Ferienwohnungen in einem sehr authentischen Zustand erhalten. Der Ausblick vom Balkon hinab ins Tal auf Castellnuovo als auch auf das Umland war atemberaubend. Der Pool war sehr sauber und sehr gepflegt und hat auch unseren Kindern sehr gut gefallten. Der Gastgeber (Paolo) war immer sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend und hat uns gelegentliche mit Pizza, Brot und Bombolonies aus hauseigenem Pizzaofen überrascht. Durch die etwas höhere Lage, waren die Temperaturen - ~30°C und ein leichtes Lüftchen - sehr angenehm. Der kleine Lebensmittelmarkt am Ort war hervorragend sortiert und hat von Baumarktartikeln über frische Lebensmittel und Brot bis hin zu Spielzeug vieles im Sortiment. Die Besitzerin war sehr feundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank an den Gastgeber.

Ein Paradies im nördlichen Toskana

Wir verbrachten 2 wundervolle Wochen in der Villa Benedetta. Die Villa hat einen wundervollen rusikalen Charme, der aber Komfort (WLAN/Geschirrspüler etc) bietet. Der Garten ist wunderschön angelegt, mit einem traumhaften Ausblick auf die Berge. Er verfügt über frisches Quellwasser. Die Poolanlage ist der Wahnsinn, der Salzwasserpool äußerst gepflegt. Die komplette Villa ist sehr sauber. Im kleinen Dorf gibt es einen MiniSupermarkt, der aber gut sortiert ist. Paolo ist ein absolut toller Gastgeber. Seine Pizza ist fantastisch. Herzliche Grüße an dieser Stelle! Lassen Sie sich vom steilen Anstieg nicht abschrecken. Es lohnt sich!

Toskana geht auch ohne Touristen

Wir haben uns extrem wohl gefühlt an diesem ganz besonderen Ort. Wer gerne vom Balkon aus den Sonnenuntergang in den Bergen beobachtet, die Ruhe genießen möchte, mittelalterische Dörfchen ohne Tourismus entdecken möchte, sich im Sommer gerne im Pool oder mit dem frischen Quellwasser erfrischen möchte oder einfach den Stil eines liebevoll eingerichtet Ritterguts schätzt, dem wird es hier gefallen. Und Paolo ist einfach der beste Gastgeber!

Urlaub in Silicano/ Toskana

Das Haus ist eine wunderbare alte Villa mit zwei Türmen. Die Wohnung war wie beschrieben und mit allem eingerichtet was benötigt wurde. Da es höher gelegen ist, muss man zwar einen steilen Anstie bewältigen, hat aber auch einen sehr schönen Blick über die Täler. Der Gastgeber Paolo hat schon im Vorfeld auf jede Frage sofort geantwortet und war auch vor Ort sehr zuvorkommend. Mit ihm kann man sich sehr gut in Englisch verständigen. Einmal in der Woche hat Paolo für alle Feriengäste Pizza im hauseigenen Steinbackofen gebacken- diese war echt superlecker. Auf dem Grundstück und im Ort selber gibt es mehrere Trinkwasserquellen, welche eine super Erfrischung sind. Der Pool ist einfach wunderbar und es gibt genug Liegemöglichkeiten. Alles in allem waren wir mit unserer Wahl sehr zufrieden und hatten einen erholsamen Urlaub mit der Familie.

Schöne Alte Bauernvilla, toller Pool.

Es ist eine sehr schöne Alte Bauernvilla, die liebevoll von Paolo gepflegt wird. Der Pool ist so schön, wie auf den Fotos. Es ist ein sehr ruhiges Dorf in abgelegener Lage. Man findet hier viel Ruhe. Paolo hilft bei allen Fragen.

Heerlijke, gastvrije, sfeervolle accommodatie met een prachtig uitzicht

Heerlijk verblijf gehad in een klein typisch Italiaans dorpje. Appartement was ruim en sfeervol ingericht met veel oog voor authentieke details. Fijn ruim balkon met een prachtig uitzicht. Zwembad was perfect, wasmachine aanwezig, kleine supermarkt op loopafstand (onze boodschappen werden zelfs door de eigenaar van de supermarkt naar boven gebracht). Maar de host Paolo maakte voor ons het plaatje compleet. Wat een enthousiaste, vriendelijke en gastvrije eigenaar. De kids vonden het fantastisch dat ze met hem zelf pizza's mochten bakken. Kortom: echt een aanrader!

Sérénité et authenticité chez Paulo

Une semaine vraiment agréable dans cette très jolie maison toscane de 1636 remplie d'histoire et d'authenticité. Nous étions dans l'appartement Marcello. L'hôte est particulièrement agréable et aux petits soins. Les vues depuis le balcon et la piscine sont magnifiques et vous ne vous en lasserez pas !
