Stunning uninterrupted moorland views over lake and Rough Tor

Mabel's Cottage offers a delightful rural retreat located on the edge of the moors and yet is only a few miles from the beautiful North Cornish coastline. The well known Port Isaac, Tintagel and Boscastle are all close by, along with the beautiful beach at Trebarwith Strand, and wonderful walks such as the Camel trail and St Necten's Glen to name but a few!
Climb the Tor, meet the local sheep, cows, chickens and ponies, listen to the birdsong. We have swallows nesting in the summer and the famous starling murmurations fly overhead twice a day from mid October until early spring. A real sight to behold.
The cottage is heated and features a kitchen and a patio, and there's space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Guests can expect to find a TV with a DVD player. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fireplace, and an ironing board.

Mabel's Cottage is fabulous. The views of Roughtor over the lake are stunning. The cottage has everything you need and is spotlessly clean. We wish we could have stayed longer to really appreciate it. Hosts, John and Wendy were very helpful and made us feel really welcome. If you like walking the moors are minutes away,perfectly located to visit boscastle,Bude and many more. This cottage was so peaceful and quite,inside was immaculate and had everything you need.
