"The house was extremely cold! The common areas never got above 61 degrees. The thermostat was unreadable and the customer service representative advised me to get new batteries, which I did at my own expense. That made the thermostat readable, but it did not increase the temperature at all. We had to wear jackets, hats, and gloves indoors to stay warm. I was in touch with customer service three times about this issue and someone dropped off three small space heaters, one of which immediately blew a fuse in the house so there was no electricity in part of the house until we figured out where the fuse box was. Even making a fire in the wood stove fireplace (no wood was provided so we had to buy it) did not warm the room sufficiently. It was extremely uncomfortable and it was an overall miserable experience for us. On top of everything else, the house was also quite dirty. The kitchen cabinets were dirty, the floors were dusty, and there was a sticky spot on the coffee table that had dog hair stuck on it! It was the worst rental property experience that I have ever had! "
