Aside from the stairs, I’d rate this stay as just about excellent. The rooms were clean and spacious, and we enjoyed a lovely balcony with a great sea view. The apartment itself, along with the surrounding Santa Ponsa area, is quite hilly/mountainous. The only real drawback was the stairs — they were very steep and long, with no elevators or alternative access, which was very challenging for us. Taxis are pretty expensive in this locality as well.

so here’s the 411. this is an excellent budget-friendly option if you want to experience the beach in mallorca. It is about 30 mins from the airport/palma, so if you want to explore that I wouldn’t suggest this location. I will also say that a taxi to and from the airport is about $60… welcome to island prices. This hotel/apartment is mainly for experiencing the local area which is the main beach and shops/resturants. The walk to the beach is about 10 minutes… but like be prepared for the calf workout of your life. basically the property is at the very top of the hill and to get back up you need stamina. about 200 steps at least, plus the boardwalk to the beach. There are many restaurants, cafes, and shops below, and all reasonably priced. This is definitely not for family’s with kids and not ADA accessible to the beach. There are shuttles offered by the hotel but only to take you down to the beach not up. So you have to walk up or get a taxi. But everyone walked from what I saw. Also we learned that this area on the Island consists of mainly Irish, Scottish, and English tourists. This was evident in the cuisine that was offered at the restaurants (ex english breakfast) and the music in the clubs at night. I loved the property and the staff was wonderful. But be prepared to walk and climb! Oh and there was also like a courtesy room we got to use after checkout since we wanted to stay a bit longer to swim before our flight. we kept our luggage there and even showered!

Great and will stay again. Clean, friendly and helpful stacc. So much better than expected, I didn’t find the bar that expensive and the steps were steep but can always walk round but tbh it kept my holiday weight down!

Very clean, good location near the sea and everything. Be careful a lot if steps (may be 100) to access the beach and some (arround 20 ) to the pool, so with a baby and stroller it is complicated !!

It was a pretty nice room! Great getaway from the heat of Mallorca. Only downsides were the beds were pretty stiff and the stairwell up to the place was tough. Something uncontrollable was the fact that there were a bunch of college kids screaming late at night.

Highly recommend and will be back!

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Sandra was very helpful when we checked in. The studio we booked was with sea view and it was beautiful I really recommend it, also it has all the amenities. The pool was great and Juan and August were very warm and welcoming too! There are many steps to get to the hotel as other people have pointed out so if you can’t walk up all the stairs this might not be the right place for you. Taxis are very expensive to get around. The hotel has the free beach shuttle that operates certain hours and you book with them. They take you down to the beach and take you back at the hotel, but if you want to go out for food in the evening the steps cannot be avoided unless you are ok to pay more than £30. To get to the hotel from Palma you either get a taxi for more than £50 and I guess depends on the month and how busy it gets or take the bus for less than £10 and then unfortunately go up the stairs holding the luggage(what I did). For me I love the hotel and I will be back but I need to say certain things that might not be ok for some people and need their accommodation to be easily accessible.

The reception staff were excellent, they allowed us to leave bags with them until our next stay a week later. Helpful and informative. The rooms lack shampoo and basic food essentials in the kitchenette so you would have to buy them immediately on arrival. However there are restaurants, bars, and cafes and shops 5 minutes away. Set on a hill so we got a taxi back up around 4-5 euros.
