Spending last night here with my wife which she's here for a day job. I love the hotel much very confort and the staff are nice. The hotel is very well located near to every where is in need in Deauville. Keep it up good work I will always recommend to my people.
Was here one night before a bike trip. Front desk could use some "service" training. They are not the friendliest...never saw any of them crack a smile. Or maybe its just a french thing. But room was good, location good. Breakfast too pricey. Go out and eat at a local cafe...there are plenty of them around. Would love if they just had coffee and croissants for a minimal amount. But no complaints otherwise.
Deauville in August is populated by a lot of Parisiens so the price level is high (you only have to look at the many shops that sell luxury brands, especially near the super luxury hotel Normandy. Having said that ,the Almoria appears to be a bit pricey for a three star however, by Deauville summer standards it is not. Our modern room was spacious and equipped with a large kind size bed. Bathroom and toilet are separate which is always preferable to the regular one-in-all combination. The bathroom itself is bright and modern and well equipped with a wide range of toiletries. The large flat screen TV also carries English language channels like BBC and CNN. The hotel does have an underground garage however, it is not suited for what the call "large" cars. Even a small SUV apparently will not fit. Breakfast is € 13 however, we went to a nearby boulangerie instead. The hotel is right in the center of Deauville however, if you came here for the beach life you will either have to walk (about 20 mins) or go by car (extar parking fee at the beach).
Stayed here for 4 nights. Nice rooms, English news channels, wifi and a nice patio. Only fault I could give it is if you're a light sleeper the air conditioning system is a bit loud and rattling. It may have just been our room. I would stay here again though!
As a 3 star hotel, the price is not cheap at all. Perhaps it's just Deauville, the back garden of the Parisians with inflated prices everywhere ... The reception is mediocre. Checkin was fast, but the receptionist did not bother to mention anything about wifi, or recommendations of the city. I had to run down again later to pick up wifi passwords. Room is very clean - there is absolutely no doubt about that. But pick a room far away from the elevator otherwise it can be noisy. We had a garden view which was lovely. Location is good too but Deauville is very small. In any case, if I was given the option again, I would probably pick a hotel with an indoor swimming pool in trouville, which I find to be a lot more vibrant than Deauville. It's not a bad hotel but I didn't find anything particularly impressive.
Bright, modern, small hotel situated in good position in Deauville. Very clean with nice sitting out area in the courtyard at the back. The rooms at the front might be a problem for light sleepers because of traffic noise in the morning, so if you can, choose a room at the back overlooking the courtyard. I really think that the absence of tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms is an oversight, particularly as the hotel is able to provide a very expensive fridge minibar in the rooms. Personally I would probably not go back because of that...pricey breakfast too so bear in mind there is a very good supermarket thirty yards to the left of the front door of the hotel..
A very comfortable hotel, which was quiet and calm. It is very good for cyclists as it has free underground bicycle storage - so dry and very secure. It is near the centre of Deauville, so easy to find.
I was here in July for 2 nights and really enjoyed it. It's a small, quaint hotel. Courtyard is very nice. Reminds you of Melrose Place. I really like the smaller hotels vs a large hotel because it feels more personal. Breakfast was good. I woke up late one morning and they still let me have breakfast which was nice. The hotel is a short walk to the shops and the beach/casino. I really enjoyed my stay here but as with most other hotels in France, I wish they had more English channels.
Stayed for one night last week. Hotel is very centrally located and pleasant. I found the staff extremely helpful. We arrived early from Paris and wanted to check in early to spend the day at the beach, this was no problem. When we were leaving my partner forgot her passport in the room safe, and as we were flying home a couple of days later this could have been a major problem, but with a phone call the staff were on top of the problem straight away and the passport was received by courier first thing the next morning. May not sound like much but I've stayed in many French hotels where this level of service just isn't displayed, especially when your stay is over and your bill is paid. Would be very happy to return.
Not a bad room on a courtyard so we could gather with friends. Sign on door leading to courtyard says 'No picnics'!!! We did gather as a group and had drinks and nobody shooed us! Near a beach and restaurants. Best thing was grocery store down the street for cheap wine and beer! Rooms were Ok...those darn slippery tubs would get them sued in the US!
