The staff at the NH Cali Royal are great! They were the most helpful and courteous I have ever encountered. This was the second time we've stayed there and the service as been consistently excellent. The building is wonderful and comfortable, but getting a little worn around the edges. Still, when we visit Cali, this remains our hotel of choice.

With the NH brand one would hope to stay in a decent, comfortable, modern looking hotel, but there is nothing “Royal” about this hotel! The place looks old and feels old, and expensive for what you get. As a family of 5 we were recommended a Jr Suite with a living room that can be converted into a second bedroom, but it must have been the smallest Jr suite I have ever stayed in! For starters with 3 kids they were one bed short so we had to order an extra bed (which they brought up with a double mattress, which mysteriously turned into a single mattress on the second day......on ringing the front desk we were told that “they needed the mattress somewhere else!”) Being on the 3rd floor overlooking the pool we had to put up with a pool side DJ playing loudly until 11pm every night. The windows offered no sound barrier at all. By the third day we couldn’t wait to leave...... The only positives were a decent breakfast buffet and the proximity to the Unicentro where we took the rest of our meals.

This hotel is very beautiful and close to the malls and restaurants. The pool is beautiful and the spa is amazing, the staff is very informative and intelligent. I feel very safe here. The food is amazing I will definitely return.

Over all - we can only promiss: We'll come back - when and wherever a nh-hotel is available at the place we travel to... All points that counts where absolutly top and the frienliness of the whole staff a real gift...

Second time I've stayed there, last time about five years ago. Besides the name not much has changed but there are now very pleasing troupe l'oeil painting prints by Colombian artist Omar Rayo on the lobby walls. The reception was pleasant enough but quite drawn out. A bellhop seized my bag as I entered and didn't relinquish it 'till we arrived at my room but he was chatty and pleasant and I didn't mind as I'm sure he is paid a pittance. My room was on the 5th floor. The room was clean and quite comfortable with couch and easy chair seating as well as desk chair and table with plenty of outlets for laptop and phone charger. The bed was huge and very comfortable and pillows were adequate. Window view was of another wall and more distant buildings. There are probably rooms with better views if you ask but wasn't important to me. Wifi reception was excellent. My complaints are that I couldn't get hot water to come out of the shower or wash basin taps no matter how I adjusted them. I don't know if the hotel claims to have hot water but it doesn't. Another is the toilet wouldn't flush well on the first try. Lastly I was surprised to find there was no mini frige in the room, a notable absence in a hotel well up in the upper price range for hotels in Cali. A meal in the restaurant was very high priced for what was presented. If you need to stay in the far south end of the city and want a hotel that offers up scale amenities (at a price) this hotel serves the purpose

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. The entry is now nicely decorated with art. But the rooms itself lack any kind of good vibe. They really need a make over. There is just no atmosphere in the room. The bed are ok but just two tiny pillows (not helpful for my neckhernia). And after three nights.. i had some bitemarks in both my legs so probably the beds were not 100% clean. The breakfast is good. Area is nice for shopping..3 min to Unicentro and if you are in for a 20 min walk you end up at Jardin Plaza. Unless you have business to do in the south, I would not advice to stay here..

Since 20 years I travel to Cali, Colombia regularly. End of the nineties the Royal Pacific in Cali (today the NH Cali Royal) was the choice for happy travelers. After Radisson took over the quality dropped and now for the first time I stayed there when managed by the NH group. Unfortunately a huge disappointment. My first room was loud from pumps / A/C equipment in front of my room. I asked for a change at least three times by phone (I speak Spanish) - never got a response. Later in the night after dinner with a customer, finally I could change to a new room, which was quite (pool side). Unfortunately this room was dirty and the windows blends were broken. I cannot recommend this hotel anymore.

Stayed here on business... reservations were made for me. you can tell it’s an older hotel, The rooms are clean although as other reviews state, dated. Staff was friendly and helpful, common areas and restaurant was clean. The beds were hard, but I didn’t mind. Water wasn’t too hot but I️ didn’t have issues with water pressure as some other reviewers stated. The gym was pretty sparse but I️ was Able to work around it. Overall I would stay here again if I had business in this area of the City.

I got charge twice for three nights, I called and sent an email with all details and received no response. Bathroom didn't have towells nor hair dryer. Hotel has not resolved duplicated charge after more than twoo weeks.

The overall impression when you arrive to NH Cali Royal is great. However the room I got was very run down and felt like it was not taken care of for a very long time. Beds were rock hard and the A/C made a terrible noice. The mega big bathtub had cracks in the joints all around it. This hotel was run by Radisson before I was told and I guess the new 'owner' chain have not had time to invest and renovate it the way it should be done. The breakfast was extremely expensive. Pool and bar area was nice. A big shopping center just around the corner made the location good if you like shopping.
