Since 20 years I travel to Cali, Colombia regularly. End of the nineties the Royal Pacific in Cali (today the NH Cali Royal) was the choice for happy travelers. After Radisson took over the quality dropped and now for the first time I stayed there when managed by the NH group. Unfortunately a huge disappointment. My first room was loud from pumps / A/C equipment in front of my room. I asked for a change at least three times by phone (I speak Spanish) - never got a response. Later in the night after dinner with a customer, finally I could change to a new room, which was quite (pool side). Unfortunately this room was dirty and the windows blends were broken. I cannot recommend this hotel anymore.

Stayed here on business... reservations were made for me. you can tell it’s an older hotel, The rooms are clean although as other reviews state, dated. Staff was friendly and helpful, common areas and restaurant was clean. The beds were hard, but I didn’t mind. Water wasn’t too hot but I️ didn’t have issues with water pressure as some other reviewers stated. The gym was pretty sparse but I️ was Able to work around it. Overall I would stay here again if I had business in this area of the City.

I got charge twice for three nights, I called and sent an email with all details and received no response. Bathroom didn't have towells nor hair dryer. Hotel has not resolved duplicated charge after more than twoo weeks.

The overall impression when you arrive to NH Cali Royal is great. However the room I got was very run down and felt like it was not taken care of for a very long time. Beds were rock hard and the A/C made a terrible noice. The mega big bathtub had cracks in the joints all around it. This hotel was run by Radisson before I was told and I guess the new 'owner' chain have not had time to invest and renovate it the way it should be done. The breakfast was extremely expensive. Pool and bar area was nice. A big shopping center just around the corner made the location good if you like shopping.

We visited CALI and stayed at the NH CALI ROYAL. The staff is very friendly, breakfast options were very good but the hotel is somewhat run down. We checked in at about 10 pm and our room did not have any towels: we got towels shortly. The paint on the walls was scratched off. The shades on the window did not close well: overall, the building needs more maintenance and supervision of these smaller details

First visit to Colombia and I must say I am impressed. The Royal from the reception through to to restaurant staff are very welcoming and so helpful. We chose to eat in the restaurant, outside by the pool, because we felt safe, the food was good, the service excellent, the temperature and atmosphere was great to unwind after a hectic business day.

The Hotel is a bit off the beaten path but is an excellent property at a bargain price. Our room was large with separate seating area and desk and a plentiful buffet breakfast was included (amazing fresh fruits). The pool and hot tub were inviting and the restaurant and bar area offered inside, outside and poolside seating. The food was excellent and Boniface our waiter every day saw that all our meals were special! My only complaint would be the poor water pressure and lack of hot water- we were on the top (9th) floor. Another bonus is an attached shopping mall. I would highly recommend if staying in the central city is not a priority.

Had my $150 Rayban sunglasses stolen from the hotel room night table. Hotel management wouldn't help. If you stay at this hotel, do not leave any valuables in the room. Unlike Hilton hotels, the hotel management simply said they could not do anything to help.

The hotel has operated under different names in the past; Royal Pacific, Radisson, now the nh hotel. The food is OK, but nothing extraordinary. The breakfast buffet is ample with omelets to order. The fruit, breads, and other accompaniments are good. The towels are worn, and the beds stiff. Several items were a bother. 1. When I arrived the front called me later in the evening trying to charge me for a taxi I did not order. 2. I had a pool side room, there was a band that played til 2am the night before I had an early departure, so not a good night's sleep. 3. I prefer a non-smoking room, but the floor had smokers. On departure day evidently the party from downstairs carried on at 3am with neighbors smoking strange herbs and talking loudly. 4. Upon reviewing my bill, they tried to charge me for a restaurant bill that was not mine. There are better selections in Cali.

The amenities and food are excellent. They are a "green" hotel; since they use a solar power water heater, your showers are not as hot as we are used in the U.S. The hotel is situated in the south side of the city, which is a nice and safe location.
