A beautiful 3 bedroom fully equipped holiday villa, located in the quiet village of Estreito da Calheta, just at 220 meter above sea level. Accommodation consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms one with fitted modern shower , one with bath & Shower, kitchen & dining area also has a TV room; all within the same level. A big patio area outside just out of the dining room, with a fantastic panoramic views of the mountains, ocean and sunsets & Sunrise everyday… nice place to relax in the morning with a sunrise for breakfast or in the evening with a nice glass of wine for sunsets.

    Geräumige Wohnung in schöner Lage. Supermarkt und Bar gleich um die Ecke. Guter Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung von West-Madeira. Sehr freundlicher Empfang mit Wein und Bolo de Mel.

    unpersönliche Aufnahme ins Ferienhaus

    Empfang war sehr distanziert, 10 Minuten Einweisung, Gastgeber war fort. Kaputte Zimmertüren, Bad mit gebrochener Waschtischplatte - gut, das es 2 Bäder gab. Bei Unwetter lief das Regenwasser über die Arbeitsplatte bis auf den Küchenfußboden, so musste nachts erstmal gewischt werden. Es konnte nur wenig gelüftet werden wegen der Geckos. Bei Abreise ließ sich die Gastgeberin gar nicht sehen, auch auf eine Whatsapp-Nachricht wurde nicht geantwortet. Alles in allem sehr unpersönlich und enttäuschend! 10 Tage Aufenthalt. Wir kommen auf keinen Fall wieder.

    The scenery is simply amazing. The house is just perfect and Angela (our host) was very kind and helpful with our delayed travel plans as well as a major road closing to get there. HIGHLY recommend it

    Sehr schönes Ferienhaus in toller Lage

    Wir haben uns in der schönen Fewo sehr wohlgefühlt. Angela als sehr nette Vermieterin war nach kurzem Telefonat schnell zur Stelle, übergab uns die Schlüssel und zeigte uns alles. Auch während des Aufenthalts war sie mehrmals da, um im Außenbereich zu säubern, zu gießen usw. Die Fewo ist sehr großzügig. Alle 3 Schlafzimmer und die Terrassentür hatten Fensterläden, die sehr gut vor der Sonne schützten; in der Küche gab es Rollos. Die schöne, große Küche war extrem gut ausgestattet mit allen möglichen Küchenmaschinen (Herd, Kaffeemaschine, Toaster, Wasserkocher, Mixer, Eierkuchengerät, Zitruspresse usw.) sowie Esstisch und Stühlen. Auch freute uns, dass es Gewürze und sogar Öl gab. Geschirr und Besteck waren sehr reichlich vorhanden, das haben wir bisher in Ferienhäusern nicht immer so erlebt. Ebenso eine Waschmaschine und Geschirrspüler incl. der Waschmittel! Das schöne, helle Wohnzimmer lud zum Relaxen ein, aber wir verbrachten doch die meiste Zeit auf der wunderschönen Terrasse. Morgens zum Frühstück gab es Sonne (links), die den ganzen Tag die Terrasse beschien, bis sie abends hinter den Bergen von Prazeres unterging. Auch ein Sonnenschirm war vorhanden. Außerdem gab es alle notwendigen Möbel zum Verweilen: Tisch mit 4 Stühlen, Sonnenliege, Gartenmöbelsofa, und im schönen Zwischenraum zum Esszimmer war noch einmal eine Sitzgarnitur für 2 mit Tisch, wo man tolle Aussicht aufs Meer hatte, aber windgeschützt saß. Gefreut haben wir uns auch über Wäscheständer inkl. Wäschekorb und -klammern. Im Supermarkt (höchstens 2 Gehminuten, ca. 200m, 7-22 Uhr geöffnet) holten wir morgens Brot (Alemania schmeckte super), Brötchen u.ä. Dort gab es alles, was man brauchte. Wir kauften aber auch im großen Supermarkt beim Hotel am Strand von Caletha ein. Die Lage des Hauses gefiel uns sehr gut. Wir hatten einen Mietwagen (es gab einen Parkplatz am Haus), der auf Madeira sehr nötig ist, auch wenn eine Bushaltestelle direkt 100m vom Haus entfernt ist. Es war schön ruhig, abseits der Hauptstraße und oberhalb der Nebenstraße nach Jardim do Mar gelegen (eine steile Sackgasse führt am Haus vorbei). Wenn der neue Tunnel im Barranco nebenan fertig gebaut ist, kann man ganz schnell nach Jardim und Paul do Mar fahren. Jetzt war diese Straße ab 18:30 Uhr und sonntags für den öffentlichen Verkehr geöffnet. In Paul do Mar gibts leckeren Black Swordfish mit Banane! Alle Teile der Insel waren von hier sehr gut zu erreichen. Danke, Angela, es war ein toller Urlaub!

    Grande maison, bien située.

    La maison d’Angela est très propre, la description faite est conforme. La petite terrasse fermée est bien agréable s’il fait frais, dommage que le salon soit en bout de couloir.Beaucoup de produits d’entretien et alimentaire sont disponibles. La maison se trouve dans une petite rue calme, le seul trouble les chiens qui aboient. La communication s’est bien passée avec Angela, nous l’avons rencontré uniquement pour la remise des clefs, nous sommes repartis sans la revoir, toutefois en cas de besoin on peut la joindre par téléphone. Très bon séjour.

    Schöne Ferienwohnung mit toller Aussicht

    Die Mail Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war super. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und persönlich. Die Ferienwohnung war mit allem ausgestattet. Und war für alle Fragen von uns offen. Ein Supermarkt befindet sich in 2 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Tolle Lage für Ausflüge auf der Insel.

    Holiday apartment with a wonderful terrace and a great view

    We enjoyed 2 weeks in a wonderful big apartement. Angela is a very heartful host. After a long flight from Berlin to Madeira we had a comfortable welcome and we could totally recover.     Very great vacations

    The stay in this appartement was very good. The appartement was clean and have everything what you need. The view on the sea is beautiful. The only point is, you must drive everyday if you want to the sea our to a hiking tour. The supermarket is about 300m far from the appartement and has open the hole week.
