This beautiful stone property, fully restored in 2019, sits in a peaceful rural location called Florenças, a small parish within Calheta, on the southwest region of the island, and has the most amazing panoramic ocean and mountains views. If you’re a nature lover and wish to get away from the noisy and stressful city life, Recanto das Florenças holiday houses offers you a great opportunity to relax and have a romantic or family holiday break, next to the mountains and the beach at the same time!
The cottage was kept with its original Madeiran style, maintaining the same elegance and comfort properties that it always had before.

With a vast garden, filled with flowers and a beautiful lawn, you will be able to enjoy the most incredible sunrises and sunsets.

It is within the very quiet, calm and peaceful small village of Florenças that you will feel like being part of a paradise. Agriculture is still a big characteristic of Florencas environment and, of course, its very own helpful and friendly people, that still take care of their lands, growing their own vegetable, herbs & fruits, everyday! You couldn’t ask for better neighbors!

Recanto das Florenças consists of two “joint” houses but with separated entrances. Car parking is also freely avaliable within the property. House n.º 1 is a two bedroom/two bathroom apartment and house n.º 2 is a one bedroom/one bathroom one. Both are fully equipped with lounge and kitchen, and all the appliances you’ll eventually need are there. Besides, it’s located just a few minutes way from supermarkets, restaurants and coffee shops.

Recanto das Florenças n.º 1 and 2 can be booked separately or together. Take notice, though, that when separately booked, the house garden will eventually be shared, but room or space for everyone is a thing that won’t miss!

The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and a balcony, and there's space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a coffee maker, and an ironing board.

Super séjour

La logement est parfait pour un séjour d'une semaine et contient tout le nécessaire utile (ustensile de cuisine, draps, etc.) Nous avons pu bénéficier des fruits et légumes du potager. En plus de cela Rosa, l'hôte, nous a laissé quelques présents à notre arrivées. La communication avec Rosa a été parfaite du début à la fin.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es gab alles was man braucht. Kühl-gefrierkombi, Waschmaschine, Wasserkocher, Filterkaffeemaschine und auch ein Kapselsystem Genug Platz für alles. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet. Der Block zum Meer, fantastisch. Die Ruhe oben auch. Wir kommen wieder

Alles super - wir kommen bestimmt wieder

Wir sind sehr herzlich empfangen worden. Das Haus hat alles was man braucht - uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Die Aussicht ist super und die Lage zur Erkundung der Insel ist perfekt. In der Nähe ist ein kleiner Supermarkt, wo man auch günstig essen kann oder es sich mit nach Hause nehmen kann. Und zwei Minuten entfernt ist eine kleine Bar, wo es tollen Poncha gibt. Auf dem ersten Blick sieht es nicht nach einer Bar aus - sollte man unbedingt hingehen. Super netter Wirt. Wir mussten unseren Urlaub verlängern, da unser Flug gecancelt wurde und hatten das Glück, dass das Haus die zwei Tage noch frei war. Ganz unkompliziert konnten wir verlängern. Vielen Dank nochmal dafür. Wir wollen auf jeden Fall nochmal nach Madeira und dann natürlich dieses kleine süße Haus mieten...
