Fantastic experience

The property is a real gem, in an elevated position with stunning views. The owner, Alberto, is a really welcoming and sincere gentleman (with excellent English) who greeted us with enthusiasm and showed us around the property. Inside, the property was immaculately clean and everything worked properly and we had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Outside, there is an excellent BBQ, a small lawn and two terraces both with tables/chairs and excellent valley/sea views. There is parking right next to the house. The location of the village, Loreto, is about 5mins on foot and here you will find a small general stores and 5 bars. Another 10mins on foot you will find a splendid supermaket and cafe. I thoroughly recommend Casa Horizonte and Alberto and his family are truly lovely.

AWESOME AND AMAZING

Alberto had the most wonderful home! We were so happy with this place. He met us at the top of the road and we followed him down to his cozy home. He had provided some fresh eggs, bread, wine, cheese and cookies made by his wonderful wife for us to enjoy. The rooms were perfect and beds were comfortable. A washer was available for us to even use. We even started a fire one night. He gave us his phone number to call him with any questions. At night we sat outside on the deck and admired the stars and lights down below. In the morning we sat outside on the deck and admired the incredible view of the town and the ocean. We were able to walk (only 5 minutes) to the village where there was a small market and a wonderful, must go to, pizzeria. We recommend this place to anyone who is visiting Madeira. You will truly love it.

Einmalige Lage mit Sonnenauf- und Sonnenuntergang

Wer Urlaub auf Madeira machen, aber unabhängig von Hotelzeiten sein möchte, dem möchte ich Albertos Ferienhaus wärmstens ans Herz legen. Dieses mit viel Liebe und gut durchdacht eingerichtete Haus liegt in Loreto, Arco de Calheta in einer himmlisch ruhigen Lage. Alles in diesem Haus für 4 bis 5 Personen ist genau durchdacht, und es gab tatsächlich Nichts was wir vermisst hätten. Im Obergeschoss befindet sich ein Schlafzimmer mit eigenem Bad mit Dusche. Die Aussicht vom Bett aus ist atemberaubend, und der Sonnenaufgang unbeschreiblich schön. Den Sonnenuntergang genießt man von der oberen Terrasse. Im Untergeschoss befindet sich das zweite Schlafzimmer, ebenfalls mit eigenem Bad mit Dusche und Zugang zur großen Terrasse. Über die große Terrasse betritt man auch das Haus und befindet sich sofort in einer schönen großen und zweckmäßig eingerichteten Wohnküche. Auch hier fehlt es an Nichts. Unser Gastgeber Alberto hat uns mit Wein, frischem Obst und Eiern herzlich empfangen, sodass wir uns sofort willkommen gefühlt haben. Wann immer wir einen Rat oder Hilfe benötigten, Alberto war sofort für uns da und hat dafür gesorgt, dass es für uns ein unvergesslich schöner Urlaub wurde. So hilfsbereite und herzenswarme Menschen wie Alberto gibt es leider nicht mehr allzu oft. Dank Alberto wurde unser Urlaub sehr erholsam und mit wunderbaren Erinnerungen. Danke Alberto!

Sehr schöne Wohnung, mit Alberto hat alles gut geklappt

Schöne Wohnung, gute Lage - Alberto war ein sehr zuvorkommender und netter Vermieter. Die Wohnung ist wie beschrieben und hat uns gut gefallen. Zur Info vielleicht noch: Wenn man oben in Loreto ist ist und das Navi sagt zur Anfahrt: scharf links abbiegen - und da geht es einen erschreckend steilen Weg hinunter , ja das ist korrekt ;o)) nach 20 m dann ebenso scharf rechts und dann ist die FeWo auch in ca. 300m links zu sehen ! 5 Sterne, weil 6 hier nicht möglich sind

Das Haus entspricht zu 100% der Beschreibung, es ist mit allem Alltagswichtigen ausgestattet, auch mit Handtüchern und Badelaken. Selbstverpflegung ist ohne weiteres möglich. Die Betten sind bequem, die Kleiderschränke ausreichend groß, insgesamt ist viel Platz vorhanden. Unser Sohn ist mit seiner Partnerin für 1 Woche nachgeflogen, dafür ist das zweite Schlafzimmer mit eigenem Bad hervorragend geeignet. Ein klein wenig abenteuerlich ist die Anfahrt zum Haus, aber nur beim ersten Mal, danach gewöhnt man sich an die steilen Straßen. Ein Auto ist definitiv erforderlich. Nehmen Sie die Anreise über die neue Straße (im Kreisel von Arco da Calheta die erste rechts, Google.Maps leitet links Rtg Hotel/Ginásio -> diese nicht nehmen). Der Parkplatz ist direkt am Haus. Zwei wichtige Aspekte: 1. Die Aussicht ist atemberaubend, bietet mit zwei Terrassen quasi von Sonnenaufgang bis -untergang ein herrliches Panorama. Die untere Terrasse ist von außen nicht einsehbar, dadurch viel Ruhe und Privatsphäre. 2. Alberto, der Vermieter, ist ein ausgesprochen freundlicher, hilfsbereiter und stets um unser Wohl bedachter Mensch. Der Kontakt war durchgehend positiv und immer mit der Frage verbunden, ob uns etwas fehlt. Check-in und -out waren vollkommen unkompliziert. Kurzum, wir hatte drei traumhafte Wochen in diesem herrlichen Häuschen, das wir bei unserem nächsten Aufenthalt auf Madeira definitiv erneut buchen werden. @Alberto: Obrigada por tudo e tudo do bom!

Perfekte Ferienunterkunft

Wir waren begeistert von der Lage und der tollen Aussicht unseres Ferienhauses. Nach einem sehr herzlichem Empfang durch Alberto konnte unsere unbeschwerten Ferien beginnen. Kleine Überraschungen in Form von frischem Obst und Eiern durch Alberto haben wir begeistert aufgenommen (hier nochmals ein großes Dankeschön an Alberto). Das Ferienhaus mit seinen zwei Schlafzimmern und dazugehörigen Bädern haben uns besonders gefallen. Da wir mit einer Freundin unterwegs waren konnte sich jeder so in seinen Bereich zurück ziehen und lange Abstimmungen über Nutzungszeiten entfielen. Die Ausstattung ist wie im Inserat beschrieben. Uns ist nichts aufgefallen was wir vermisst haben. Die Mahlzeiten auf der Terrasse mit einem fantastischem Blick über das Tal und das Meer werden wir noch lange vermissen.

Best time in Madeira

The apartment is even better of the photos. The landscape from there is magical, the place is wonderful (as the island), and very quiet during the night and the day. There is everything you need and everything is written in the profile, everything worked well and we did not had any kind of problem. Alberto the owner is very kind and available. I strongly recommend to DO NOT reach the apartment doing the uphill but from the downhill, it’s much easier and shorter. The gps will give you the uphill street, but if you continue straight you will catch it from the top.
