Lovely Seaview Duplex Apartment

This charming duplex apartment offers stunning ocean views and a peaceful setting surrounded by banana plantations.

On the ground floor, you’ll find a cozy kitchenette, dining table, and comfortable lounge area, along with a complete bathroom.

Upstairs, the bedroom enjoys amazing panoramic views of the sea — the perfect spot to wake up to each morning.

Just to the left of your apartment is the shared pool area, featuring plenty of space to relax by the pool or enjoy a barbecue. A common laundry room is also available for residents.

This apartment is part of a small complex of four individual units, each with its own entrance and private terrace. There’s a parking area for four cars (one per apartment). The entrance is a bit steep, but you can always park on the street and walk down.

The location is ideal — within walking distance of the popular Engenho Velho Restaurant, and about a 30-minute walk to the beach, where you’ll find more shops and restaurants. In just 2 minutes, you can reach the Via Express, providing easy access to explore the entire island.

Fangen wir beim Buchen an: Es klappte alles sehr gut und die Buchung war einfach. Bei dem Angebot waren leider die Bilder von verschiedenen Wohnungen gemixed, was für etwas Verwirrungen gesorgt hatte. Kurz vor der Anreise: Uns wurden per Whatsapp die Anfahrtsbeschreibung und ein Video für den Zugang zur Wohnung geschickt. Klappte alles super:) Topp:) Ankunft: Die Zufahrt ist steil, ja, aber sehr gut machbar. Ein Fahrzeug in Passat Größe wäre wegen mangelnder Bodenfreiheit eher ungünstig. . Die Parkplatzsituation ist angespannt, wäre aber einfach, wenn alle ein bisschen mitdenken würden und auch auf andere achten würden :) Wohnung: Sauber:) Wir haben es nicht so empfunden, dass die Schränke in der Küche schimmelig riechen. Wir hatten keine Probleme mit kleinen Mitbewohnern, also Ameisen. Die Hauskatze war vielleicht etwas übergriffig, aber jeder kann und will damit auch anders umgehen. Die Handtücher waren alle frisch gewaschen und man kann auch waschen, wenn man es will.Wir haben uns in den fast 2 Wochen sehr wohlgefühlt und werden in Zukunft jede Nacht das Meeresrauschen vermissen. Es war nicht unser erster Besuch auf Madeira und wird speziell in dieser Unterkunft auch nicht unsre letzter gewesen sein. Fazit: Wir haben in langen Gesprächen reflektiert, was für uns schön war und was nicht: Die Lage der Anlage in dem Ort:)Sauberkeit:)Check in/Out :)Ruhe:) Auch wenn die Hauskatze bereits morgen penetrant werden konnte. Ausblick:)Parkplätze:(Wir kommen wieder:)
