We enjoyed our stay at the Kensington Riverside Inn because of its great location. They are busy renovating and can't wait to experience the end product ! Beautiful spot on the Elbow River Pathway. The Chef''s Table was excellent !
The room was beautiful with a huge tub and comfy bed. The service was wonderful and super friendly. The food at Chef's Table was amazing and reasonably priced. We will definitely be staying here again!
We booked after a friend recommended and we are SO glad we did. Right from the meeting us in the parking lot with bottles of water, to the attention to fine details like the Bernard Callebeaut chocolates and personalized welcome note this place is winning! We want to come back!
We live in Calgary and have been renovating our home and it just turned out that we needed a place to stay for one more night so we treated ourselves to this hotel. I had heard of it as I work in the neighbourhood and was so impressed by the staff (so friendly and polite) and the size of the rooms. Loved the fireplace in our digs and the massive bathtub. It was so nice to have fresh coffee delivered to the room in the morning and they were so flexible about early checkin and late checkout. The $20 food credit per person included in the price for Chef's Table is an added bonus, we loved our brunch there. Highly recommend this place.
Great service, the room was one of the best we have ever stayed in. Restaurant recently renovated and good food. Great place to stay and close to all kinds of restaurants, bars etc. We had a great stay.
Very nice hotel with delicious breakfast. The only negative was not having an area for fitness or workout. Next time we might try to find a local gym to use but prefer an on site studio. Underground parking was great. Service exceptional.
Pleasantly surprised and refreshing!! Staff were all pleasant the building from parking to lobby was well marked and tidy. When you get of the elevator you feel like you have stepped into a well appointed property that has not over sold your expectations on line.
Spent the weekend with several couple friends at this hotel. Staff were very friendly, and welcomed us with smile and a cold bottle of water when we arrived at the hotel. Bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was large with both a shower and bath options. Was too cold to be on the balcony, but think it would have been perfect for the summer. Had brunch in the morning and the food was delicious (for what it's worth, we received $40 in credit for booking directly on their site). Check-out was seamless, and the hotel removed a $15 parking charge as I had parked on the street instead of the underground parking. Would recommend this boutique hotel to couple looking for a great place to stay in Calgary.
What a perfect way to start your day then with a tray of fresh coffee, tea and paper at your door each morning...at the time you requested. From the moment you arrive at RKI the staff go out of their way to make you feel doted on. Very professional and accommodating.
We spent a cold winter weekend at this lovely little hotel in January. Great location just across the river from the city centre but within easy walking distance of everything. Pleasantly quiet with beautifully modern decor, this small hotel felt very welcoming and relaxing. The breakfasts are cooked to order in full view of the dining room and are simply excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to everyone.
