I booked a non-refundable room via expediate for two weeks so that I could have a place available as needed while I moved into a new house. After one week, my house was in a livable condition so I moved my stuff from the hotel into my house and spent a few nights in my new house, but I planned to use the hotel room to relax after a long day of unpacking as my house did not have a functioning TV. After a few days in my new house, I went back to the hotel room (which I had already paid for in advance) and was shocked to discover that there was another person's stuff in my room. I complained to the front desk, and they said that because I hadn't used the room in over 48 hours and because the room was empty, they canceled my reservation and booked someone else in the room. When I commented that it was a significant safety issue that my room key was not deactivated, they blamed their new computer system and didn't seem to appreciate how dangerous it was that I had access to a room that another person was now staying in. When I complained that they had taken my money but not provided me with the service I paid for, they said that due to Expedia's practices, they were unable to refund my money, even though they got paid for the room twice. As a single female who travels alone often, I consider this disregard for the personal safety of their guests completely unacceptable, and I consider charging two different people for the same room a very dishonest business practice.

Although it looks kind of rugged on the outside due to the pool renovation, it was a great place to stay for a Calgary Stamps game!

As we had two events downtown , we used this hotel for ease of access to transportation with c train . Rooms were clean but whole hotel could use an upgrade Hall carpets seems worn. Exteriors are being worked on as well as pool so perhaps it is a plan . Breakfast was standard Hampton breakfast

Hotel and staff were great. Rooms are large and clean with very comfortable beds. The train platform to downtown was right across the street making it very convenient. Breakfast was also great with several options. I would definitely stay here again!

This property is under renovation and it finishes the Hilton brand . It does not represent the Hilton’s usual standards excellence . Front desk was not welcoming . House keeping was very friendly . If you have a truck good luck finding parking with all the scaffolding and workers trucks around it is impossible .

Will not be booking for business here again. I booked a room here for a client to stay. I prepaid with a credit card. I have booked rooms for clients at countless hotels and have always been able pre-authorized my business credit card for damage deposits. This hotel refused to accept pre-authorization over phone or online. My client did not have a credit card (hence why I prepaid everything). They would not accept my clients debit card either. The reception staff were not at all understanding of the situation and refused to talk to me over the phone so I could help my client. I had to drive to the hotel to give them my card information in person. The two people at check in were extremely rude and not helpful at all. I will never book a client here again and I would highly suggest never booking here for any sort of business or conference.

I booked because t was close to C train came to do an event with my son and asked about leaving his car there for two hours while we went to the event. It would be an extra $15. So he picked me up and we parked at the Brentwood station for free. I won’t be back.
