The property is on par with a Super 8. The amount charged was in the range of a Hilton Tru or a Hyatt - - way out of line for such dated property. The room was very small and cramped. The place has no elevator. With little insulation between rooms we heard noise from the hallway and other rooms. Because the amount of money La Quinta charges, our expectations was raised, then disappointed.

We stayed here for a dog show, our room was $120’s to $140’s on the weekend, plus a $75.00 pet fee. The hotel was tired and threadbare in appearance, our microwave and fridge didn’t work at all. The bathtub backed up and toilet clogged. Housekeeping only comes every 3 days, so garbage cans were never emptied, no fresh towels No hairdryer in the room, and television stopped working. Over charged due to the show, won’t stay again.

Staff were knowledgeable and helpful, room was very clean and the bed comfortable. It was quiet and worked well as our base for exploring the area.

Rooms don’t have the auto-shut doors, which helped keep it quiet. Room’s cooling unit was loud enough to make up for that. Chair in room quite dingy. Mismatched paint on walls, just a little run-down… not terrible, but I wouldn’t have it rated at 8, either.

The online presence states that this hotel is pet friendly. Upon arrival, we were asked to pay $25.00 as a fee for having a pet. This information is no where to be found on line or at the check in counter. I would be happy to leave a refundable deposit and have it returned upon departure. That is not the case. It seemed that the $25.00 was just a way for the hotel to make more money. I'll make an effort next time we come not to stay at this place.

The room didn't look like the pictures online, the room was dirty, floor wasn't vacuum,appliances was old and dirty, it was spider webs in corners, I book for the luxury studio suite and the sofa was old,stain and dirty. The sofa mattress was dirty. The bedding for the king size bed were old and has stains. I end up buying sheets to put over so we can use it. I wish i could left but i have a nonrefundable booking. I dont recommend this hotel and never again stay in. I was very disappointing.

We believe booked here because it said it had a pool- I didn’t. So I asked for a refund. They said they would refund me, and send me an email confirming that. Neither happened. So email and no refund. So I am pretty upset at this point.
