Overall ok property. Bar & restaurant onsite, gated access parking. Building is older & not renovated. Very convenient to airport. Nothing in walking distance.
The hotel is quite old now and still looks OK. It is good for business even though i find it expansive for what you get. If you have a car it is fine but if not it in not a walking distance from anywhere. It is very close though to the airport and good location if driving to Antofagasta since it is outside the city. There is not a lot of options in Calama any way, so it is OK. Went for dinner and the menu has about 8 pricy choices if you do otnwant to get the bufet that it is worth it if you are hungry. Cheers.
If you want to stay close to airport this may work for you. However you would be far from town without any food options around. The hotel is old without ac or fan in any of their rooms which in the summer makes the room an oven. The hotel needs a make over but what they really is to train their staff to be more polite. Rude front desk girl makes for a terrible first impression. Not sure I can recommend this place unless you get it for a rock bargain price.
