시설은 깔끔하지만 객실 관리랑 기본 서비스는 별로 3박 4일 머무는 동안 하우스키핑을 제대로 받은 적이 한 번도 없습니다. 전날 청소가 안 돼 있어 다음 날 미리 요청했음에도 이후에도 청소가 이루어지지 않았고, 전화로 요청하자 “곧 보내겠다”는 말만 한 채 30분이 넘도록 아무도 오지 않았습니다. 결국 리셉션에 직접 내려가서 말한 뒤에야 청소가 진행됐는데, 그마저도 침구 교체 없이 정리만 한 수준이었습니다. 세면대 물이 새는 문제도 여러 번 이야기했지만 그때마다 처리하겠다는 말만 반복했고, 실제 수리는 계속 미뤄지다가 하우스키핑이 들어올 때 한 번에 같이 처리됐습니다. 전반적으로 객실 관리가 체계적이지 않아 보였고, 직원들끼리 소통도 잘 안 되는 느낌이었습니다. 하루 일정 끝나고 호텔로 돌아와 쉬고 싶은 상황이었는데, 청소와 수리 문제 때문에 방에 들어가지도 못하고 복도 쇼파에서 기다려야 했던 점이 특히 힘들었습니다. 그 과정에서 별도의 사과나 보상은 전혀 없었습니다. 또 하나 아쉬웠던 건 호텔을 통해 예약한 프라이빗 택시 투어입니다. 1인당 60달러를 냈음에도 불구하고 현장에서 주차비를 따로 내라고 해서 당황스러웠습니다. 금액의 문제가 아니라, 미리 안내도 없이 추가 비용을 요구하는 방식이 불쾌했습니다. 다만 레스토랑은 만족스러웠습니다. 피라미드 뷰도 좋고 음식도 맛있었으며, 특히 구운 메인 요리와 망고 주스가 인상 깊었습니다. 레스토랑 직원들은 모두 친절했고, 응대도 만족스러웠습니다.
