Property was excellent. It was disappointing that AliBaba from the restaurant made a dinner reservation for our last night (he is wonderful and charming), we asked for a specific table and were there at 7:30 sharp but our table was not reserved. There was another family there, the person in charge said he was sorry but they arrived first. What??!!!! Total disappointment. We got seated at a table on the middle terrace in the back. I was so upset I went back to my room, they messed up our whole night. We had the view to the pyramid show from the room, the whole point was the last night dinner with the view. The hotel has to speak to its employees and explain what reservations are for. Other than that, cute hotel, clean, reception is great, the plus is obviously the view.
Excellent location, very clean, great view and extremely friendly & helpful staff!
This property is very near to the Great Pyramids, the Sphinx, and several other major attractions around Giza. The hotel is clean and staffed with very friendly people who go out of their way to ensure you have a great trip. The restaurant upstairs serves great food, and Ali-Baba is a fantastic host! The best parts of the property are the proximity to the Pyramids and the Sphinx, which, if you spring for the pyramid view room, allows for the nightly watching of the light and sound show. The area is local, with several small, private shops lining the streets, and a heavy police presence, so, other than the usual persistent salesmen, it is safe to walk around. Some considerations are that the area is very rural, so you will be limited to eating only at the hotel, or ordering from the Pizza Hut nearby, as they are the only two food options in the area- no other delivery. Also, I worked with the hotel tour company and while I want to stress that the tour guides themselves were great, the ‘tour lead’ who handled scheduling and tour coordination, botched several of our tours, left us at the airport after we returned from our day tour to Luxor, and immediately and consistently pushed more and more tours. Ultimately, my family and I checked out three days early and transferred to a hotel in downtown Cairo, where we were able to find more dining and entertainment options, but overall, we really enjoyed our time at this property. Again, shop around for tour options.
Excellent hotel! We had the family suite with a spectacular view, the staff was friendly, especially the restaurant staff. Alibaba in the rooftop restaurant was very welcoming. Very clean, great breakfast variety. I travelled with 3 children and absolutely loved it!
Well we came here for the view and it did not disappoint! Even better than the pics on their website. The Breakfasts and Dinners at the rooftop restaurant were good. They even brought us an Egyptian Red Wine (no alcohol on menu). Enjoyed our stay.
Great views of the pyramids. Nice restaurant. Very close proximity to the pyramids and Sphinx. Very delighted with this hotel choice.
Awsome place!! Love Egypt!
This is a great hotel with the BEST view to the pyramids and Sphinx. The street is a bit smelly (it is the way of all animals such as horses and camels). However, you are just in front of the pyramids and have the most amazing view from their terrace restaurant. Breakfast is very complete and all of the hotel staff is friendly, and they will greet you every time with a big smile. Forgot the name of the gentleman at the restaurant but he is always therw, walking around and being super helpful. You guys (hotel staff) does an amazing job, kudos to them!
Staff is Awesome in General, restaurant is good price great view from roof top. For what I paid is great. Wifi sometimes not good but know problem. Definitely would stay again.
Clean room with comfortable bed hot hot water and great service by staff.
The views from the hotel of the pyramids were amazing, and the room was just okay. However, the restaurant options at this hotel is limited, and a lot of restaurants will not deliver to this area because of the chaotic activity outside. As soon as you step outside of the hotel, you will be harassed by women wanting money to feed their kids, young kinds, and men. The people will even harass you from the street while seating on your balcony. To some it up, I would not stay at this hotel or in this area for more then a day. The one day would only be to take advantage of the pyramid light show and excess to the pyramids.
The staff was very friendly
If I was suppose to stay in the room that I initially reserved for the New Years celebration with my husband then I would’ve enjoyed my stay a little more. Instead of having a room with no view of the most beautiful wonders of the world.
First and foremost the view from the roof top is impeccable. The staff was amazing- Youseff, Rania, Ali Baba & Sam made our 2 week stay one the most memorable trips we have taken yet. Very accommodating, helpful in everyway and treated us like family. We plan on taking another trip to Egypt in the near future and will stay here again. We strongly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a 5 star hotel experience and service at a 3 star price.
