Overall this was a very good selection for a hotel however the rooms are a bit tired. The bed was very uncomfortable as the pillows were hard and there was a dampness to the sheets and duvet which were very heavy. On my last day, to be fair to the hotel, there was a small card that was face down, on the side table that said if you wanted different pillows, just ask. I wish I had seen that on day one! The thermostat was broken towards the end of my stay and the room temperature got up to 26c in the room. There was no water in the room. However, the location was great. It was literally near everything. The breakfast was great. The staff especially Matthew at the concierge desk were amazing. The view of the harbor from the balcony was a plus. They gave me 4 drink coupons which I didn't use and some casino plays which I didn't use but that was a nice touch. Overall, I would definitely come back.
I arrived to find a coffee stain on my carpet. For 3 days, it was to be cleaned. After I inquired again, they decided it had been there awhile and could not be cleaned. The patio door lock never worked. Engineering came with a new lock which was not installed as they had they said fixed it. It was not fixed. I did not bother asking anymore questions or inquiring as nothing was done about it. If a carpet is dirty or room is in disrepair take it out of inventory until it’s suitable to stay in. One positive on my entire experience, the concierge helped me move my bags to the next hotel one block away. It was very much appreciated.
If you're looking for a great all-in-one place, Pullman Reef Hotel Casino is the best! The hotel rooms are truly fabulous! The staff were remarkable in service. There are quaint eateries, cafeteria-style eateries, and some nice full-service dining restaurants inside and connected outside. This hotel has it all: Casino, Pool, Upstairs Wildlife Sanctuary with treetop adventures! Pullman Reef Hotel Casino was absolutely amazing! The location is perfect for those who like to browse the open streets and visit the local area. It's close to the docks for those taking Great Barrier Reef tours. It's not hard to find. I really enjoyed my time in Cairns and this hotel was magnificent.
Beautiful rooms and superior staff. Location could not have been better. We loved the view from the balcony. I would definitely come back!

Room was very nice. The location excellent. The restaurant above the casino floor was adequate at best. The in room coffee maker was excellent. Overall this hotel is a much better choice that the other Pullman hotel across the street.

We were at the Pullman for 3 nights. The hotel was super nice and in a great location. The room was spacious, bright and clean. Our stay also came with an included breakfast in the restaurant and it was great! One thing we noticed about Australia is that the cost of food is way higher than it is in America so it was nice having a meal included. The breakfast buffet had a good selection and there was an option to order off the menu as well. All the staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is in walking distance to plenty of shopping and dining places. If/when we make it back to Cairns we would definitely stay here again.
Very convenient to the pier and boardwalk. Great spacious clean quiet room. We highly recommend it.

The room was the one with a king size bed. It was a good looking room very comfortable. It looked like the picture. The room had a sliding wall that can close the bathroom side from the bedroom side. Or if you wanted you could open the bath side so you can see out into the room and out the window from the tub. Tub was tub with jets it would be tight for two. Shower was the best. Tall shower head about 6'8'' off the ground. It had a separate hand held nozzle. Room for two in shower. Bed was firm. Refrigerator was small and filled with stuff they had for sale. I was able to add 2 bottles of my own water. Sun deck on this floor was bigger than other floors and looked over the pool (519). The ones next to me would be center of pool . You couldn't see the ocean water from the deck not sure what higher decks can see. It was a great place to view the 6:50 pm bat fly by that lasted 40 minutes. The lobby is being worked on but my room and price made up for that. This hotel is walking distance to shopping and water front. Five star Hotel just a little deducted for lobby remodel. Looks like they will be done soon.
