We enjoyed our stay here. Really close to the ruins and the guided tour of the runis was excellent. The hotel itself was very clean and the room was large with all mod cons and also spotlessly clean. Dinner was okay and served in italian style with humour. Breakfast was not much to write home about but it served its purpose. Very friendly staff. We would stay there again.
After having searched for lunch during more than 1h30, we suddenly saw this place on our road. We were really looking forward to Pizza … but then it appeared there was no pizza at lunch (although mentioned outside). Staff was not friendly at all, the food was mediocre (don’t take the “vegetable soup” if you don’t like a brown bean mix!) and on top, the charged us 10€ too much (we mentioned this, and it was corrected). Really, our worst lunch during our 12 day stay @ Sardinia.
Competent provision of rooms and good restaurant on site. Obviously greatly convenient for a quick visit to Su Nuraxi site as we were passing through on bicycle. Breakfast was forgettable but probably better in peak season.
This little hotel could be better managed. Needs clean up everywhere. Room and shower were Acceptable. Neighbor room s had eight young children , so dining and Rest was complicated. Very best spot to visit su Nuraxi site. A Must do thing. There Is a children's play Area on site . Restaurant on site.
Rooms cleaning up and silent. Good food and possibility to taste local products. Kind Staff, family and professional environment at the same time. Amazing location, this stay makes with sight really unforgettable on one of the greatest installations nuragici of Sardinia and next to the highland of the Giara.
Really convenient place to stop if you are crossing Sardinia and are planning to see Su Nuraxi in the morning. Decent rooms, great, simple food in the restaurant, very caring staff, a really tasty apple cake for breakfast, and a litter of the most adorable grey kittens. Funnily enough, I do not think they actually have any rooms facing the Su Nuraxi site itself.
When we arrived the hotel was empty and for some strange reason they gave us a room not facing the Su Nuraxi Nuraghe...pity. Apart from that the room was very clean, good bed and bathroom and very quiet at night. The breakfast was served by the lady owner in a very friendly way. Great latte, fruits, bread, etc. We did not try the restaurant but they say they serve good Sardignan classic dishes.
Three girls cruising around Sardina spent one night at this lovely place, just some minutes walk from one of Sardinia's most famous "nuraghes". Tonina, the hostes, and her daughters, were all very nice. I think we were the only ones staying at the time (late september), but at lunchtime the restaurant was almost full. They also help you getting in touch with Roberto who can take you to the Giara platau looking for the wild horses. Yes, it is in the middle of nowhere, but by car it easy to get there. Driving in Sardinia in september was great, no problems at all.
We drove up to this place and asked if they had a spare room, they had quite a few. Located in the middle of nowhere (by an ancient ruin) this place has spectacular views for miles. They have cute little buildings that are ever so clean and homely. The only problem is that we couldn't get the air con to work and as a result didn't sleep at all, it was incredibly hot! There's not anything to do around and no pool, but if you need somewhere on the way through I would thoroughly recommend it. The owners don't speak much English but are so accommodating and have a lovely restaurant attached. Very good value for money too.
Mangiato diversi antipasti tipici locali e in particolare raccolti dalle piantagioni del ristorante stesso (frutta e verdura fresca appena colta e servita in giornata). Da consigliare.
