We ended up staying 4 nights after booking an extra night because it is so relaxing after several days traveling northern Argentina. Our room was very spacious with a wonderful vineyard/pool view. We loved sitting on our patio with a beverage and enjoying the view and tranquility. Breakfast is very good with eggs offered cooked to order and fresh made breads. Coffee was excellent. We enjoyed our dinner in the restaurant. Servers and very professional and pleasant. Front desk staff are also excellent and helpful. The location is out of town but only a short and reasonable taxi ride (125 pesos) to enjoy town. This hotel was excellent value.

Family Vacation

The hotel is absolutely fantastic. The facilities are beautiful, the room large and well furnished, the grounds and pool are excellent, and the restaurant has fantastic food, wine, and great service. I will go back and bring my friends. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a vacation in Cafayate.

Lovely location for visiting Cafayate

Extremely comfortable hotel in a good position to visit Cafayate or the surrounding area. It’s a 35 minute walk into town down an unmade road or a cheap taxi ride. The food in the restaurant was very good and they had a good selection of local wines. There is a comfortable sitting room with a fire for cold evenings. The pool area was nice but not operating at this time of year. Staff were polite.Room had a lovely terrace and a comfortable bed.

This resort is beautifully situated in the mountains of Cafayate. It’s outside the village and very quiet. The property is clean and the rooms are generous. The bathroom is very modern and you have a dressing room with your bedroom. The hotel has a generous breakfast and will even honor special requests. We spent a wonderful relaxing weekend there and would visit again.

Wonderful views

We booked in for a couple of nights and wish we stayed longer. The hotel was in an amazing place with fantastic views. We really enjoyed and would stay again.

Wonderful Hotel, Poor Wifi

The hotel is about 2 kms outside of town. This makes it difficult to walk into town, but also gives it a very nice secluded rural atmosphere. Excellent facilities, only complaint was that wifi was only in the bar area, and NOT in the rooms. The restaurant was nothing special. We were hoping for a more regional menu. I would go back, if I was able to get a special price again.

Oasis after the majestic salta-cafayate route

Only 5 minutes out of city center, oasis of relaxation - luxurious, high end, clean and beautiful hotel in the heart of mountains. Super clean room, helpful staff and refreshing pool. Go for it!

Fantastic get-away in between vineyards

A non-appealing dirt road leads to a well-maintained hotel in between vineyards and large lavender bushes. Lovely people at reception desk take care of fast (and, if possible, early) check-in. Spacious rooms without television and water cooker, but with terrace. Fantastic pool overlooking the grape vines, which turned out to be non-seasonal (despite the cold water, very much appreciated by our kids). Breakfast and dinner (make reservation) were very good.

Great Place to Finish your Argentine trip

Spent the last 2 days/nights of our 10 day trip to Argentina at Las Vinas de Cafayate. What a wonderful way to finish the trip. Perfectly maintained grounds, spotless everywhere, very comfortable room ( we did the Superior room with a Fantastic View). Its up a dirt road 3 km outside of town BUT that's no big deal at all once you figure out the streets and one way direction of most of them. (first time finding the correct turn took a few "extra turns"). Staff at the front desk spoke english pretty well, and in a pinch got 11 Pesos/dollar at the front desk.

Great location for your stay in Cafayate

My wife and I spend two nights in Cafayate and found this hotel to be a wonderful experience. The room was large and well appointed. The architecture fit a wine lodge in a vineyard. We felt that it had a "Southwest" type design and motif, but in the Spanish colonial tradition. The vineyards surronding the wine lodge highlighted the theme and ambiance. The staff was attentive and helpful. The breakfeast was fresh and offered a nice range of breakfast foods. We ate dinner there one night, and enjoyed the meal. There was a limited but nicely chosen selection of wines and these were reasonably priced. The wine lodge was situated a short drive to the center of town along a dirt road. We would not recommend walking into town.

A gem of a place to stay...

Really loved it here... a gem of a place to find after the drive down from Salta... If I had to do it again I would skip Salta completely and just drive straight here... Salta was disappointing... the drive down from Salta to Cafayete was fabulous and the hotel was a fabulous end to the drive... nice pool, with views over the vineyard and mountain... very friendly staff... Highly recommended...

Very nice hotel on the outskirts of Cafayate

This is a nice, relaxing hotel. The rooms are situated around a very pleasant garden with a fountain and each room has an outside terrace with lounging chairs, overlooking the surrounding vineyards. Our room was quite spacious, with a dressing area. It was not the best room that we had in NW Argentina (that was at the Marques de Tojo in Purmamarca) but it was good and comfortable. The pool area is also pleasant, with beautiful views of the mountains, and we had lunch served there. Breakfast (cold buffet) and dinner in the hotel's restaurant were very good. There seemed to be only one waiter at dinner, serving about 6 tables, but he worked very hard and we had no complaints. The hotel is situated down a long, unpaved, dusty road, and a car is essential to get into town. However, we prefered its peaceful location compared to the busy town.
