The beach view from our room was amazing! the only negative was the treatment by the front desk staff. For what we paid for a beachfront room my expectation from the front desk staff would be first class treatment instead it was more like Motel 6 .

The hotel is in a great location and the access to the beach is probably the best of all hotel properties. The staff was great to us. My only downside of my stay, I must say it, is that my wife and I are people of color and all the guests looked shocked that we were there. I don’t think they are use to seeing people of color there, we’ll get use it! The staff treated us well and with kindness.

Playa Victoria is a nice hotel mainly for the balconies with views of the ocean. We were there in March and could enjoy Cádiz without the crowds. The hotel is well located – just a 10 minute bus ride from the train station & old Cádiz. You could walk along the ocean from the hotel to the old part in 45 min. The staff were very friendly & professional and we enjoyed our visit. At night, with the window cracked open, we could hear the sound of the waves – very relaxing! We really enjoyed the chiringuito with lounge music (to the left of the hotel on the beach) and the tapas at El Sur (close by). Our dinner at La Candela in old Cádiz was excellent.
