Brisbane International - Virginia

Average and a bit noisy

We booked the hotel for an overnight before a flight from Brisbane airport. This is a relatively large resort and the room was spacious and clean. The bed however was not very comfortable and both wind and noise came through the door cracks. Good enough for an overnight

Colonial Village

Decent jotel but farcfrom ciry with bad public tec

The hotel is good. Breakfast is included but is very basic: white/rye bread, marmalade, butter, vegemite 3 types of cereal(cocoa crispies, corn flakes and musli), coffee types of hot tea, milk and 2-3 different juices. Staff was helpful. The guest there can purchase a bacon egg roll for $5.99 that was very good. My husband had a smoked salmon bagel at the restaurant and said that was good as well. The bed was not made of 2 occasions. There are no hand towels or wash cloths but maybe that is just not a Queensland thing as the airport hotel also did not provide them. The hotel is pretty far out so would ve a much better experience if you had a car. We did use the laundry facilities. It was $4-4.20 to wash and $4 to dry.
