Great location, great view!

This condo was roomy and provided all we needed for our vacation. Loved drinking coffee and eating breakfast on the balcony while watching the morning golfers with the beautiful ocean in the background. The amenities that are available at Reserva Conchal with the condo are fantastic! We would definitely consider staying here again!

Nice place and amenities. Wouldve been great if not for a broken dishwasher and 3 days of ice cold showers. Water temperature and dishwasher were not fixed despite being known issues.

10 days over New Year’s

Condo was is great shape with everything you need in a great location. Bluewater is excellent. Can’t say enough about how great Reserva Conchal is. The beach is gorgeous. The water was safe and calm for most days. However, on New Year’s Day the water became rough, and there was a scary riptide. Saw someone almost drown. There’s a sign further down the beach that warns of riptides. Can’t understand why there isn’t a lifeguard on duty. Therefore, is you see large waves and a strong undertow, please use caution.

Overall Great Experience

Property in good shape, also close to lap pool. It’s a about 8 minute drive to beach club. Very close to Flamingo and Potrero where there are lots of beaches and restaurants, except there’s a detour through dirt road because of road construction (no big deal) at the time of our stay. Concierge was very accessible and responsive.

Great location

Pictures don’t do this condo justice. The sunsets in the evenings were beautiful. The home had plenty of space for our family of 4 and was well equipped. The area is very safe and made for beautiful morning walks. We spent most of our days at the Beach Club which is Great and right on the beach with a gym and pool. The restaurant also has great food choices! It’s about a 10-15 minute drive away within the property OR you can call a shuttle. It’s a pretty drive, too far to walk. You do have access to the Westin and W however you can only use their restaurants, which are way over priced. Your better off going to the beach club. Cons: The furniture is not the most comfortable both inside and out. The patio couch has a back that is not attached so if you lean on it, it will fall off. We opted to sit in beach chairs while on the patio instead. The house doesn’t have a guest book with suggestions and things to know about the area. They tell you to call the concierge but the only thing we found helpful from the concierge was scheduling shuttles. I rent homes several times a year and this is the 1st home that did not have a guest guide book. Highly recommend the owner creates one. Did not have hot water in one of the main floor bathrooms. We reported it but didn’t get a response until the next day and still nothing was done. We made do, our daughter just showered in the other bathroom for the week. Despite these minor items we still enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

This place is amazing!

The condo is beautiful, the property is stunning and the access to the Beach Club was perfect! We stayed for 11-days with 2 other couples, and we all had enough space to ourselves as well as common space. We absolutely loved our stay; it was comfortable, and everything was very clean! The kitchen is very complete for anyone who likes to cook their own meals and you also have access to the Beach Club restaurant. We spent most of our evenings making dinner at the condo and eating on the beautiful balcony with a lovely view of the sunset. The beach club served as our home base for all our daily activities, and we were so glad to have it! There are miles of groomed trails through Reserva Conchals 98-acre nature reserve that is only 10-minute walk from the condo. Location is also very safe and has security controlling the entrance. Abigail was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Overall, we had a great stay and recommend this property to anyone coming to this area of Costa Rica!

Beautiful!

Great condo, awesome beach, wonderful beach club! Would definitely stay here again. A house manual would be helpful for tips and tricks of navigating the property and surroundings. Of note, the beach is not within walking distance. There is a shuttle bus that’s very easy to contact and quick. You can also drive and park at the beach club if you rent a car. I’d say a five minute drive. Town is not within walking distance, but that suited us just fine. We spent most of our evenings making dinner at the condo and eating on the beautiful balcony with a lovely view of the sunset. The beach is truly amazing. Turquoise waters, white sand, great swimming. Our concierge, Abigail, was super helpful and arranged tours for us. Thank you!

Tv channels and bathroom doors

My husband is american,he was expecting to be able to watch American channels,was not possible! Only way was nexflix and only what the owner already had watched.That is annoying because is supposed to be a tourist place 😒. The bathroom door in the principal bedroom in second floor was loud and that noise woke up every one at nights! Needs to have some maintenance . The book information should be Updated Since it says that, during your stay you receive the cleaning service fully included in the price. When we requested it, they told us that only if it is for more than seven nights. The book does not indicate it.

Amazing Costa Rica Stay!

We just returned from six days at this property in Costa Rica. The views are amazing and the house was comfortable for our family of five. The kitchen is well appointed for those that opt to cook in during their stay. The Reserva Conchal property is lovely, with access to the beach club, golf course, and beach front. It was truly a resort experience. Can't wait to return!

Wonderful home. Great location and views. Access to beach club was easy. Westin access was based on hotel occupancy. Second day we couldn’t go to Westin pools because too many people at hotel.

Awesome Views and Amenities

One of the best properties we have stayed at in Costa Rica and we have been coming for 8 years. Blue water properties was great. Reserva Conchal Beach Club was great as well nice staff and very clean and great food. The Gym is nice but the bikes need updating. Otherwise it was perfect!

Review of Bougainvillea 4315

GREAT RENTAL! This condo sits right in the middle of the complex and is the highest so the views are amazing. Everything works and there are a lot of extra great kitchen appliances. We do not have a single complaint. The only minor things are that the coffee maker is slow so either needs to be descaled or replaced and there wasn't a knife sharpener. But again, those are extremely minor issues and not worth taking any credit away from this great rental and review. We loved the access to the beach club as it also has great access to Playa Conchal with only a couple of steps to privacy, beach showers, shaded chairs and a couple of pools. We didn't use the Westin although we could have. The other thing we liked is that you can walk to a couple of really nice local restaurants as well as the grocery store (which takes credit cards). They are a little bit of a walk but we didn't mind at all. Papaya's is very good as is Anders. Both are on the same side of the street as the grocery store. We used Blue Water to coordinate all of our activities and they executed flawlessly. If you do the Arenal Volcano tour be sure to upgrade to the zip line and request to have Edwin as your guide. We also did the Sunset Catamaran which was nice. It was a really windy day the snorkeling was so-so but overall a very good time. Finally, we used Blue Water for private surfing lessons and had a guy named Cairo (sp?). That was a great time and he was a very good instructor. Overall, you cannot go wrong renting this property. My only advice is to consider having a rental car the whole time. We had one for 3 days and used it to do some beach hopping and also drive to the Beach Club. If we were to go again we would rent a car from the airport and return it as the route is very straight forward and Google maps worked fine for us. Make sure you go to Tamarindo early and beat the crowds but make sure you go. Our favorite beach was Playa Grande. We had a great day in the waves. We also went to Playa Hermanos (good snorkely along the rocks on the far right side) and Playa Cocos but we didn't care for those beaches as much as they were more "muddy" than sandy. Don't hesitate to jump on this property. You won't regret it.
