Äldre men frĂ€scht boende nĂ€ra Byxelkroks hamn

Vi ville stanna i Byxelkrok nÀra hamnen för att vandra runt mellan sjöbodar, fika och Àta pÄ kvÀllen utan att behöva stressa. Detta boende ligger pÄ ca 1 km avstÄnd frÄn hamnen och det gÄr bra att gÄ. Priset för standarden och vÀrdskapet innan högsÀsong var för högt, ett annat boende nÀrmre vattnet var billigare. Bemötandet och vÀrdskapet frÄn Àgaren var lite bristfÀllig, man kÀnde sig inte direkt vÀlkommen och sommarpersonalen verkade inte speciellt hjÀlpsam nÀr Àgaren inte var pÄ plats och vi inte kunde checka in. Synd. Hela stÀllet Àr lite som om det hade stannat av i tiden pÄ 80-90 talet men ÀndÄ frÀscht! Det verkade som om det var mÄlning och ompyssling pÄ gÄng. Frukostpersonalen var omtÀnksam och trevlig.

Mysigt och lugnt

Perfekt boende om du önskar lugn och ro. Vi kom dit med buss, och den stannar i stort sett utanför boendet. Vi bodde dÀr tvÄ nÀtter och hyrde cyklar nere i hamnen i Byxelkrok. Trivdes mycket bra!

Trevlig personal men inte prisvÀrt

Personalen var trevlig och hjĂ€lpsam och vi var de enda gĂ€sterna. HotellomrĂ„det upplevdes som rörigt och inte alls iordningstĂ€llt. Rummet var rent och frukosten som serverades pĂ„ en bricka pĂ„ rummet var helt ok men det fanns ingenstans att Ă€ta den, utom sittande pĂ„ sĂ€ngen. Med tanke pĂ„ priset (det var ett av de dyraste pĂ„ hela Öland) hade vi höga förvĂ€ntningar som inte uppfylldes; det var inte prisvĂ€rt. Rummen som var inrĂ€ttade i smĂ„hus var mycket smĂ„ och det fanns inga gemensamhetsutrymmen, standarden mycket lĂ€gre Ă€n pĂ„ hotell som vanligtvis ligger i den prisklassen.

VÀldigt dÄligt!!

Hade bokat rum redan i Mars för att vara sĂ€ker pĂ„ att ha boende. Men nĂ€r vi kommer dit och ska checka in efter över 60 mils bilĂ„kande sĂ„ fĂ„r vi höra att "det uppstĂ„tt lite problem" sĂ„ det finns inget rum Ă„t oss. Den enda förklaringen vi fĂ„r Ă€r att det skulle ha skickats ett mail pĂ„ söndag förmiddag, (vi skulle checka in pĂ„ mĂ„ndagen) dĂ€r det skulle ha stĂ„tt att vi inte kunde bo dĂ€r. Med sĂ„ kort varsel ringer man vĂ€l upp den som bokat och inte bara skickar ett mail!! Ännu konstigare Ă€r att sambon dessutom pratade i telefon med Ă€garen pĂ„ söndag eftermiddag och dĂ„ sas det dĂ„ ingenting om att det skulle vara nĂ„got problem. VĂ€ldigt konstigt... SĂ„ nej jag kommer aldrig mer att boka nĂ„got boende dĂ€r och kommer absolut inte rekommendera nĂ„gon annan att göra det heller!! Oseriöst stĂ€lle...
