We have stayed at this hotel numerous times over the past 3 years, and each time we are very happy with the cleanliness and helpful staff. We had a voucher for a spa room which we used on the first night. The noise between rooms and internal doors constantly slamming was the only negative. The second night was in a more spacious 1 bedroom suite with river views, which is our usual preference. No noisey neighbours this time. From the balcony we watched 3 dolphins feeding at dusk, absolutely wonderful. We ate dinner in the restaurant this time. Not overly impressed but suffice. We tell everyone to stay here and pay the extra for a river view suite. We'll be back for sure.
The waterfront view rooms are a must. So peaceful and quiet sitting on the balcony enjoying a glass of wine in the afternoon or a morning coffee. The rooms were spacious and it was well priced for a night away. easy check in and out. everything is within walking distance. The pool whilst advertised as "heated", wasnt warm at all. The chill had been taken off the water but far to cold for us.
Love the location, room and staff but would not recommend the restaurant or room service I travel to this motel every month for the past 5 years and have stayed and eaten here now for 40+ visits. I have never left a review but feel I should share .i love staying here but when I comes to eating I will buy a frozen lean cuisine in preference to the room service. The only reason I eat here is for the convenience. I have tried every thing on the menu and the only thing they cook nice is the chips. The restaurant will not make variations to their menu and when asked to can be quite rude. Saying this I love the location ,rooms and staff, just eat at one of the close by restaurants not on site.
From check on to checkout our experience was first rate. Their Peter Morrissey pamper pack with robe is superb. They had one made up just for my partner, after selling out. Location is just magic, right on the banks of the Richmond River with an easy walk along the boardwalk. We will be back here very soon for another escape.
Great location next to the water. Good restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Easy to get to from the airport and next to walkway down to the beach. Good service at restaurant and reception. Comfortable rooms.
My friend add I are riding for AMP CAMP CHARITY. Ramada provided us with great room on the 6th floor. The room had a kichen, lounge area, spacious bathroom and big bedroom. There is a laundry which was very handy. The beds were super comfortable. There were three dolpins one being a calf chasing fish in the river less than 5 meters from the hotel
This was our 3rd stay at the Ramada Ballina where each stay has been comfortable and enjoyable. This visit we enjoyed 3 nights in a well designed and comfortable suite. The suite was very clean, well catered with a small stove, fridge and microwave and contained ample plates, saucepans, wine glasses etc. The rain shower was very relaxing at the end of the day along with the Peter Morrissey bathroom supplies. The hotel is close to good restaurants and shops with the staff very helpful with requests. We'd definitely stay again in this hotel!
The Ramada Hotel in Ballina has been a big favourite of our over the past few years now and our stay recently didn't disappoint. So nice to be greeted like an old friend when you turn up after a long days drive. Not many hotels we know that the staff remember you!! The rooms are really well appointed and are like a mini apartment with great facilities. It's good to be able to head downstairs for a nice meal without having to leave the building and you can sit right on the edge of the Richmond River as you enjoy your meal. Thanks Diana and your team for making us feel so welcome ONCE AGAIN!
This hotel surprised me. It was very good, comfortable room with lovely view of the river. The conference room we used open straight onto the river pathway. The breakfast was good but slow .all breakfasts were individually prepared , ie no buffet
This is a really great place to stay. Beautifully located right on the river with stunning views. Multiple places to eat, room service, free wifi and huge, spacious rooms. Friendly staff will welcome you when you arrive. Highly recommend you stay here if you are coming this way.
