Great unit

We loved our stay here. The area was quiet and safe, only minutes walk to the beach and nearby cafes. The back yard was fully enclosed which was great for our dog. The unit was clean, comfortable, easy to find and no problem using the key lockbox. Neighbours were quiet. Loved the comfy beds, great to have two bathrooms. Fans and aircon were welcome.

Family holiday

Enjoyed our stay, very family friendly. Would have appreciated a few more washing & dishwashing tablets, and things like bin bags etc. A family of 6 staying for a week 2 of each wasnt much. Would stay again though, great location.

Long weekend beach stay

Beautiful location the unit was clean and in a quiet area. So close we could take regular walks along the beach and across the bridge. Thank you the process was easy, great location.

Great accommodation

Fantastic holiday location close to the beach and lagoon. Great walk along the wall. Unit was clean and had pleanty of room everything to make a holiday stress free we had a lovely holiday. Would recommend to anyone looking to holiday in Ballina

Walk to everything

This is a great place to stay for a family, comfortable, spotlessly clean, spacious and a perfect location if you want to just walk out the door and be on the beach. Within a short stroll you have the surf beach, sheltered Shaw’s Bay, coastal walks, playgrounds cafes and fishing spots. There’s a good covered barbeque area, an enclosed backyard. Stock up on supplies in town and you can leave the car parked for your whole stay.

Peaceful long weekend

We stayed at McKinnon by the Bay for a long weekend in February. We found the place to be clean, comfortable and within easy access to everything we needed. The bonus for us was that it is pet friendly. There was 2 off leash dog areas one was a park near the townhouse the other was on the Ballina side of the bridge on the water although we did go to Lennox for a really good off leash beach called 7 mile beach there was surf and sand for our dog to really enjoy. The townhouse was clean and very quiet which was really nice for a relaxing break.

Nice and comfortable

Clean with all the necessities. I don't like the linen being two sheets and hot water ran out daily after the 5 of it's had showers etc. Backyard was great for the dog. Well provisioned.

Great location & dog-friendly

Easy check-in with key-safe. Lovely quiet location, property as described & overall clean and tidy. Enclosed yard great for our small dog, as was the off-leash dog park at the end of the street. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend for families and people with dogs.

Beachside home away from home.

Beautifully maintained, clean and comfortable house in a nice quiet neighbourhood, within walking distance to beaches and a very short drive to town. All amenities are provided for a lovely, stress-free holiday by the sea - thoroughly recommend.

Beautiful Ballina Stay

The property was well set out, clean and functional. It was well equipped with all that we needed and the ducted air conditioning was so welcomed. The LJ Hooker Lennox team were amazing to deal with and had great communication. This property is a hidden gem only 3 minutes walk to the beautiful Lighthouse Beach. We will be back.
